I was purchasing my first car and after weeks of research, visits to dealerships, and test drives I decided to go with the Subaru Legacy. I worked with Rick Davis and I couldn't be happier with research, visits to dealerships, and test drives I decided to go with the Subaru Legacy. I worked with Rick Davis and I couldn't be happier with him. He was the complete opposite of the shady salesman everyone told me to watch out for. Rick is professional, courteous, and easy to work with. From the beginning Rick made it clear that he was going to be upfront about everything. Looking back I believe he stayed true to his word. Never once was I surprised, which in this case was a good thing. Highlights: 1) I brought my father with me to assist me with the transaction. Rick understood that my father was there to help me and he included my father in all of the conversations. Whenever Rick asked me my opinion about certain aspects of the car he would always include my father in the conversation. Not once did he try to leave my father out of the conversation. 2) If you have ever shopped for a car you know that salesmen can be relentless with their phone calls. I had salesmen who would call me every other day. On the other hand there were salesmen that never called. Rick hit the sweet spot. He did not call too much and he did not forget that I was interested in a Subaru. 3) A week after I had purchased the car my father noticed a small dent in the passenger fender. It looked like someone had sat on the fender. I had given the car a thorough inspection at the time of purchase but somehow I missed the dent. The only reason my father noticed the dent was because of the angle the car was parked. I called Rick and told him about the dent. Rick said that I could bring the car back to the dealership and they would pop the dent if they could. Rick worked with my schedule (I called him once on his day off and he was more than happy to help me) and the dealership was able to pop the dent at no cost. This situation made me remember something Rick said after I had purchased the car. He told me that purchasing a car from him was not the end of our relationship. If I needed anything he told me I could call him. I figured he was just saying that because that's what all salesmen say, however. After working with Rick to get the dent popped I realized that he is a man of his word. Rick could have told me that once I drove the car off the lot it was my problem and there was nothing he could do. He could have said that the dent was probably my fault and that I needed to bring the car to the dealer before they could let me know if they could repair it. I'm not naive, I'm sure Rick had his doubts about the dent being on the fender at the time of purchase but he never said anything. Like a true professional he waited to see for himself. This dent situation showed me that I can look forward to great customer service at Curry Subaru. Overall, if you are in the market for a Subaru go see Rick. It was a pleasure working with him. More

I am always leery of car salesmen, but Marc is impressive. I was unsure of the model car that I wanted but I knew I wanted a Subaru. My first visit I was able to test drive one of two models I w impressive. I was unsure of the model car that I wanted but I knew I wanted a Subaru. My first visit I was able to test drive one of two models I was interested in, the second was not in stock. I did not want to make a decision until I was able to test drive the second model, and Marc called me as soon as they had it available. I told Marc that I would get back to him when I made my decision, and he was not pushy. Making my decision was easy, but the car that I wanted was not immediately available so they searched and found it for me, exactly as I wanted it. The day of purchase went just as smooth, and Marc took the time to go over the car with me so that I had an idea where all the controls were before I left the dealership. He answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of questions! We've bought other new cars at other dealerships, but this experience surpassed the other dealers in every way. We also were impressed with everyone else we met at the dealership. Each of these people was very well informed, professional and pleasant. The facility itself is a beautiful space, bright and clean. From the moment that we approached the Subaru area (just in front of the new showroom doors) Rick was pleasant, courteous, gracious, and respectful. As a woman being there with my husband, Rick did not ignore the fact that I was the one looking for a new car, which caused me to have a higher estimation of him. He answered questions and addressed comments, yet he was not "pushy". I appreciated that his ready willingness to drive an Impreza to the front of the building so that I could examine it more closely. This allowed me to judge for myself just how different a choice this would be, compared to my first preference: the Forrester. I thus was able to eliminate altogether the Impreza. I presently have an Outback (which I have loved due to feeling very safe due to its "size" and safety features), but the new Outback is (for me) just a bit to "massive" for my driving needs. Inside the showroom, I was again not pressured as I took my time examining/comparing/sitting inside the Forrester, and asking questions, which again Rick responded to knowledgeably and courteously (answering my husband's questions also). We left the showroom feeling well informed and glad that Rick had been the one to approach us that day. There were no pressures placed on us at all. When I called to inform him that I had made a decisiion but wished to test drive the Forrester, he again went out of his way to locate the base model that I was interested in, and gave both of us all the incredible, detailed information on the vehicle, showing us the various aspects that were discernible in the car. Again he did so with courtesy, intelligence, and in a manner that ensured that the information was not being given in "dealer talk", but rather in a manner and tone that was very pleasant and informative. When we returned to the dealership to discuss terms/price etc., Rick was straightforward and aimed to work within the price and features that I wanted. He made very sure that both my husband and I were satisfied, making sure that all was clarified and acceptable. Within about 2 days he located a Forrester that met my specifications in another dealership, and just about one week later we are preparing to take ownership of the vehicle! Overall, Rick deserves a 5/5 for everything that he did, and for all that he did above and beyond. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru from Curry! More

On Feb. 1st, I ordered a new car from Curry. Factory ordered Impreza, with an estimated wait of 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks, I was told by Susan, my saleswoman, that Wayne, the sales manager had " acciden ordered Impreza, with an estimated wait of 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks, I was told by Susan, my saleswoman, that Wayne, the sales manager had " accidentally " ordered the wrong car, and they would need to order it again. Though shocked and disappointed, I agreed to wait, and was told there would be " compensation". When pushed to give a firm answer on just exactly what that meant, I was told they were unable to give me a firm answer until they had the invoice in hand, but rest assured, compensation will come. After 8 more weeks of waiting, I began calling regularly inquiring about the status of my car. Wayne, the sales manager, hung up on me after I yelled at him, and has since refused to take my calls, or return messages. I did manage to speak with someone 2 weeks ago, who told me my $1000 cash deposit would be returned to me, as they were unable to tell me IF or when my car would arrive. It's been two weeks since they " sent the check". It's still not here. I am not local to the dealership, or I'd walk in for my refund. Basically, this has been the worst experience possible in attempting to purchase a new car. Anyone not looking to grab their ankles had best shop elsewhere. More
