Incredibly Competent Service Department!! Brought my '13 Crosstrek into Colonial today for what sounded like a wheel bearing or transmission bearing issue. Within just a few minutes car was diagnosed with a bad left rear wheel bearing. Thought I would have to reschedule for the actual repair.............not the case. Wheel bearing was replaced while I waited and I was out of there in less than two hours. And........the best part was that the repair was covered under the 5 year/60,000 mile power train warranty. Cost me nothing. And the second best part was the Dove hot chocolate in the customer service lounge!! Having met Ellen Yerry briefly only once before, I was thoroughly impressed with her friendliness and competence. She actually diagnosed the problem correctly when I made the appointment over the phone last week. While there, I met and spent time talking to David Smith in the Sales Department. We talked at length about a wide range of subjects, not all of which had to do with cars, and I thoroughly enjoyed our discussion. Bottom line..............I actually enjoyed my time at Colonial this morning, mostly because of Ellen and David and their uncanny ability to make their customers feel at home. Assuming I stick with Subaru in the future, and I most probably will, Colonial will definitely be the dealership that gets my business. More

Our experience with Dave Smith was so positive (both times) and the subsequent service was so exceptional that we stayed with Colonial until it was time to replace our old car. I have never had such a pleasant, low key, personal and competent experience as we have with Dave at any other Dealership. We decided to replace our 2004 after 143,000 miles, Dave had the perfect car ready to show us, a 2016 Forester. I drove it home the same day. There's no question that because this dealership is outstanding for it's service team and our trusty, sales-friend, Jeff Leone is what makes us a part of the loyal-Colonial customer-Subaru family that keeps us coming back to and recommending them to all our friends. How is it possible to improve on such a good thing? Jeff Leone made this last experience not only fun, but very informative as the new technology is just getting more and more 'enhanced'. Not only has Jeff offered us wonderful trade-in prices, but he's knowledgeable about every aspect of the vehicles and answered every question and concern that arose in the process of deciding to lease or buy. We consistently come away feeling we've been given VIP treatment...and I believe that's how anyone working with Jeff will feel driving out of the showroom. More

Once we decided to lease the Crosstrek, he thoroughly discussed the car with us. When we picked it up, Jeff then went over all of the basics of the car. Jeff did not rush in explainig every facet of the car. He also introduced us to the staff of the Sevice department. We now look to enjoying years of driving our first Subaru. I just got into my first lease with a 2017 Subaru Legacy, and the experience from start to finish was better than I could have anticipated. Never at any time did I feel like my best interest was not at the forefront of Dave's mind. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and got me into a car I love well within my budget. 5 stars! She gave us a warm welcome and quickly got stared addressing our problem. She was very professional and has great communication skills; she answered all our questions and kept us informed of the status of the work in progress. She set up our car rental and kept it extended for as long as we needed. What we really appreciated was that Ellen was respectful and showed empathy and a genuine concern for our situation. She is a keeper!!! Thanks to Robert Deese for showing us some vehicles and for Bud who supervised the engine replacement. . More

Never once did Dave bad mouth another dealership or brand of car. He never pushed or gave me the hard sell. What he did do was remind me why I love the Forester. When I told him what I wanted, he got it for me. I am thrilled with my new Forester, Colonial Subaru and especially Dave Smith. More
