Problems with used car Bought Ford Escape used and said it sounded like an exhaust leak and would buy if fixed. Poor parts serviice I normally am very satisfied with Cunningham of Edinboro mechanically speaking however this experience was not acceptable. I had a scheduled appointme I normally am very satisfied with Cunningham of Edinboro mechanically speaking however this experience was not acceptable. I had a scheduled appointment for findings from another garage to be fixed being front left and right tie rods and rackinpinnion and rear left and right linkage bars well over 1500 worth of work. I arrived at 815 am to drop car off and a loaner car was suppose to be ready for me however the person at desk knew nothing about that even though I saw them write down that I needed a loaner I live 35 minutes away from that establishment I certainly wasn’t going to be able to drive or walk home or not have a vehicle to drive after I dropped off my vehicle so I was giving quite an attitude by the manager whom said he had no vehicles to give me and I said well you better find one because that was the agreement well he ended up giving me his personal truck to take which all I have a handicapped husband which I was not happy about but I ended up taking it because I needed a vehicle with that being said I was called the next day and told my vehicle was Donnie to come and get it in the meantime a trip from Edinboro to Greene Township and then back to Edinboro again cost me 25 bucks because the gas tank only got 8 miles to a gallon the vehicle was given to me with less than a quarter tank of gas in it and when I asked if they would put gas in it for me to take they told me it was not their responsibility that was the first issue second issue I got there to pick my car up the following day they told me it was all done I proceeded to drive out of the lot onto Route 99 within a half a minute it sounded like the whole back end of my car was dragging on the ground I turned around came back and told the manager something was definitely wrong with the backend of the car that I paid to have fixed again I kind of got an attitude from them I then proceeded to ask the mechanic if he took the vehicle for a test run before they called me he said no who does not take a vehicle for a test run once you’ve put that kind of work into it I don’t understand I made the manager and the mechanic can get in the car and take it for a ride and sure enough there definitely was a problem so again he told me I had to take his truck back home with me again another 35 minute drive and then the following day I had to come back down to Edinboro to pick my car up again In total I ended up putting almost $45-$50 in gas in the truck only to drive back-and-forth from Edinboro to my house I could not go anywhere else because after I put that type of gas in it only took it to a quarter of a tank never went above a half I feel they need to get their communication established with the customer before cars are like go back to the customer after being fixed and for loanersIt turned out it turned out the noise we were hearing on the back end of the vehicle was both the left and right wheel bearings now how does a mechanic not hear that when you put over $2000 with the parts in a vehicle I just was extremely unsatisfied I’ve always put my trust in this garage but I certainly hope that this survey makes them see they need to make some changes More

Walked away with just what I wanted I was in the market for a new vehicle.
