After hurricane Helene I took my car in because would not start on the first try. THIS DEALERSHIP MAY CAUSE YOU DEATH!!!! Took my car in because sometimes it would not start. They said it was a battery an start on the first try. THIS DEALERSHIP MAY CAUSE YOU DEATH!!!! Took my car in because sometimes it would not start. They said it was a battery and stop/start switch. Agreed to battery not start/stop. During hurricane Milton my car would not start so I could not evacuate. Once the storm passed towed to Tampa Volvo. Tampa volvo said the battery was not put in correct and had 3 loose connections. Grateful I didn’t die in the storm being trapped with no car because this dealership didn’t do their job right. Probably wanting me to come back and pay for the $3400 start/stop switch that is not even needed!!! A different time they didn’t put the car back together after- I found parts in my trunk. The time before that they left plastic oil bottle under my hood. More

Non-Local Buyers Beware: I approached this dealership READY to purchase. They (Joe C.) mishandled things so badly, that even though I loved the car, I could not buy from them. Want to hear why? Firstly, I was speaking in the evening to Keith L. ... He was honest, helpful... But it was the end of the day, and we couldn't get things done before he had to leave. So, he promised someone would get back to me 'first-thing' the next morning... The next morn, two hours after they opened, no one had contacted me, so I reached out to them. Come to find out, Keith had left... or been fired... the night before. Weird, to be sure, but stuff happens... so I tried to roll with it. I next spoke to Bruce B. He was kind, somewhat helpful, but ultimately he just passed me off the the sales/leasing mgr., Joe C. This is where things really fell apart. As I said, I was READY to buy... He had a sale in his hand! I had some questions, which he begrudgingly answered... But he always returned to his high-pressure generic pitch, "We have two other people interested in this car... you need to put money down NOW!" I can parse through B.S. with the best of them, so I tried to let that go... And, again, I was READY to buy... So I went to put the money down on an online form Joe (or his team) sent... And the invoice was COMPLETELY wrong: no car listed, no price, wrong terms, wrong customer listed, and so essentially said nothing about what my deposit was for--- in fact, the invoice didn't mention it at all. I asked him politely to correct the invoice, otherwise I couldn't feel comfortable sending my money. He refused-- not once, not twice, but thrice --- the third time telling me "This is ridiculous." It's ridiculous for me to ask you, a customer service "professional," for help... and accuracy in your documentation, before I send you money? "I'm offsite," he kept replying. 'Send the money and I can adjust everything later..." Is that really your business practice? I send you my money and just trust that you'll do everything correctly, when you've shown none of that? Long story made short: I approached them, ready to buy... As the deal progressed, I was STILL going to buy "despite their poor customer service"--- because I liked the car so well. By the end, things were so bad that I was forced to walk-- and write this. This is probably only my 5th review of ANY business EVER... I don't do that, typically. But i felt compelled to here, hoping it might help someone else steer clear of the terrible experience I had at Crown Volvo Cars in St. Petersburg, FL. More
They where nice and really helpful on buying a new vehicle. I first contacted them online about the vehicle and the process was the most painful of all the new cars I have bought in my life. One there is a small chip in the windshield and the front seatbelts had a recall and they both would not go back in. More

As I stated in a previous review Crown Volvo and Joe in service are on a much higher level than the dealership in our hometown and I am guessing over all. Our dealership in PA now charges a 6% fee if payme service are on a much higher level than the dealership in our hometown and I am guessing over all. Our dealership in PA now charges a 6% fee if payment is with a credit card. Being out of warranty the diagnostic charge is waved if repairs are down at dealership if service is done at Crown Volvo. Our Pennsylvania dealership charges a $250 rate and is added to your bill along with parts and labor. When I questioned their policy compared to my experience in Florida I was told that I was probably charged for diagnostic fee in a heightened labor charge in Florida. This is completely not true . Joe went through our invoice in detail explaining every charge . If you live in xx Pete and drive a Volvo you are definitely fortunate. I will never purchase another Volvo in PA. Here is hoping that I can live in the sunshine state some day and be treated like a valuable customer at Crown Volvo instead of the substandard treatment I receive in PA. I cant say enough great things about Crown Volvo and the service they provide and how they treat you. We have purchased 3 and leased 1 Volvo in the last 8 years in Apparently all dealerships are not created equal. Thank you Crown and thank you Joe. More

In a world where businesses can be impersonal, if not automated on-line, Mary is real. She goes the extra mile, if not the extra hundred or more, to ensure your satisfaction. I started the process of buying a newer car three years ago and finally bought one from Mary after going to multiple dealerships during that time period and finally came back to Mary at Crown Volvo because she instills trust in her customers not because they are customers, but because they are people and she cares about people. I cannot recommend buying a car at Crown Volvo more highly and the major reason is Mary Mattingly! More
