I called CrossRoads Ford in mid August 2011 after I got a flyer in the mail on new vehicle deals. Michael Ketter was the salesman who I was transferred to. Mike was extremely professional, courteous and made sure that all of my questions were answered and that I was completely satisfied before driving off of the lot. He's a down to earth guy who strives to please his customers. I must also give big xxxxxxto Mack Parrish who worked out the perfect deal and Tom Campbell who laid out all the paperwork, made sure I understood the contract terms, the warranty, and also followed up with me the next day. Lastly, I must also give a shout out to Damian Robinson (Sales) who was very courteous and friendly and made me feel at ease while I was in the dealership. I am grateful for the overall excellent leadership, superb customer service, and the overall "at home atmosphere" that exists at CrossRoads Ford; and I am certain that I will buy my next vehicle there. Michael Ketter is a great car salesman. There was no pressure or sales pitch from him to us.He asked more than once or twice what we were looking for and for what use the vehicle was to be used for. He repeated back to us what our price range was and made sure not to go above that range. He showed us three different cars for what our price range purchase could be. We were impressed that he took the time to double check his resources to ensure we were getting the best deal. Most importantly, while we were at CrossRoads Ford, Michael stayed with us, although several other people wanted his time and attention too. It was obvious to us that Mr. Ketter is one of the better salesperson with the company. I was greatly impressed and appreciative that he even saw me leave the car lot with our new purchase. More
I have been through the new car buying experience many times. My previous one the worst experience possible. I have to admit I have a tendency to go into these dealings with my guard up. The staff at Crossroads Ford showed me what the experience of buying a new vehicle should really be like. I was treated with real courtesy and respect. Michael worked with me, first on line and in person coming early in knowing that I was driving a long distance to take look at a particular car. He worked with me most of the day helping to insure I got the deal I was comfortable with. After the particulars were agreed on he introduced me to Lee who sped me through the paperwork with ease explaining all the details along the way. I was never once pressured or felt like we were playing any of the typical games. I will gladly recommend them to anyone and I will definitely be taking my future business to CrossRoads Ford. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The car we were looking for was not on the lot so it had to be located and brought to Cary. He was courteous, friendly, and most helpful. He made sure we felt very comfortable with all the features on the car. He even followed up later to make sure all was well and to see if we had questions after leaving the dealership. We would also like to thank Dan Smith and Martin Thomas for their help as well. This is definitely one of the best experiences we have ever had with buying a new car. More
It's been 10 years since I have purchased a vehicle. This is mostly due to the fact that I hate dealing with pushy sales people at dealerships. This was NOT the case with Steve Schmidt at Crossroads Ford. For the fist time I feel like I was in control of my vehicle purchase and not the victim of a smooth talking salesman. Steve Schmidt was never insistent or overbearing. He understands that vehicle buying is a decision that most don't take lightly and made every accommodation to assist me with this decision. He spent countless hours walking me through the showroom and answering questions. He also kept me updated on deals and rebates via Email. The entire process was at my control, and Steve was there to assist me. That's what customer service is supposed to be. Steve was available at short notice, and never complained or even made mention of the fact that I sometimes held him past his work shift. Then, once I had made my decision, the purchase and financing process was quick and painless with several plans laid out for my approval with no pressure. I am an analytical buyer so, from start to finish it took me a month to decide on the vehicle I wanted, dragging Steve along for the entire process. However, when the day came that I made my decision, I had my new car THAT DAY. I highly recommend Steve Schmidt at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC. My new car: 2012 Fusion SEL, Tuxedo Black, Moon & Tune package. Price: ~$22k Other vehicles considered: Focus, Taurus, F-150 (I'll be back for the F-150) Note: Sync is awesome! More
