Craig was simply a pleasure to deal with at Crossroads Ford. He was responsive to my original internet inquiry and showed follow through by calling the next day. He got me in the door with his professiona Ford. He was responsive to my original internet inquiry and showed follow through by calling the next day. He got me in the door with his professional attitude and once I was there, he continued my phenomenal car buying experience. At the end of the process, I feel both parties accomplished the goal of arriving at a deal we could all accept. I liked my experience so much that I had my fiance go that very same day to purchase another car. Would highly recommend Crossroads Ford and particularly Craig!! More
I requested a quote on a 2012 Ford Fusion via Edmunds.com and got email and voice mail responses from 6 dealerships. Steve Schmidt responded from Crossroads Ford. About a week after my initial request, Ste and got email and voice mail responses from 6 dealerships. Steve Schmidt responded from Crossroads Ford. About a week after my initial request, Steve left a followup voice mail message advising me that Crossroads was having a sale on 2012 Fusions over Labor Day weekend with up to 30% off on some models. I decided to check out the deals on Saturday, September 1. When I arrived at the dealership, Steve was busy with another customer but Craig Maxa appeared to help me within less than 5 minutes. He was helpful, friendly and attentive to my needs and desires. He showed me the cars on sale, arranged for a test drive and discussed my options with me without applying excessive pressure to buy now or up sell me to a more expensive car. I felt that Craig worked with me to get a reasonable deal on the car I wanted. Lee Brogan handled the business and financing aspects of the deal and he also was courteous, professional and attentive to my needs. Overall, I am very well satisfied with my car buying experience at Crossroads Ford and my interactions with everyone involved in the sale. I would strongly recommend Crossroads Ford to my friends. After buying a Ford Explorer and an F250 over the years I thought I would have the same experience this time around. Fat chance. I am so disappointed. The first guy I dealt with did not even offer his ne even though we test drive a car. I went back two days later and told Tim. He did not even aplogize. He made some exacuses. He gave us double talk when we asked him to match another dealer then accuses us of being angry. Wow. We walked out. More
I traveled an hour and a half to crossroads ford because the commercials made it seem like a very friendly and well run Ford dealership. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite of friendly. I the commercials made it seem like a very friendly and well run Ford dealership. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite of friendly. I went in on Friday August 31st with the intent of purchasing a Ford F150 that day. While the test drive experience went very well (although the salesman was other than knowledgable about the product...I attribute this to him being a younger salesman, probably without the experience his peers have) the simple act of getting a price turned into almost a battle. It started with Kyle Gross asking to run my credit (I don't do credit checks with dealerships...I have my own financing that I check with first) When I told him "no, I want to get a vehicle price on paper first, before dealing with financing" he became visually upset and walked off. In comes Derek Reavis, who tosses his business card at me when he walks up to my table. He sits down and asks "what did you expect to accomplish when you came to this dealer today?". I told him "to buy a new vehicle, why else?". Derek then continued to ask me why I wouldn't let Kyle Gross run my credit, and I told Derek the same thing I told Kyle "I want to get a vehicle price on paper first, before dealing with financing". He told me "OK" we can do that. At which time he said "lets do a credit check, and I will get you a price". I told him "No, I want a price, on paper, for the Ford F150 I just test drove". Kyle and Derek then began appologizing about "offering me too much of a truck"...I'm still not sure if they were trying to insult me or what. This battle went back and forth until finally Derek got so upset that I wouldn't let him run my credit (again...I have my own financing, all I wanted was an OTD PRICE) that he stood up, said "have a nice day" and walked away with Kyle. On saturday September 1st, I walked into Deacon Jones Kia, and purchased a 2012 Kia Sportage fully loaded two hours later. I'm glad Deacon Jones doesn't treat potential customers as poorly as Crossroads Ford does. Rest assured that I will try and steer as many people away from Crossroads Ford in Cary as humanly possible. We live more than 80 miles from the Crossroads Ford and drove past several other dealerships because Steve listened well to what my husband and I wanted from both a price and features perspective. In addi drove past several other dealerships because Steve listened well to what my husband and I wanted from both a price and features perspective. In addition to listening, Steve also followed through on his promises. He had everything lined up for us to complete the purchase as efficiently as possible. I dislike shopping for a vehicle. It is a challenge to get me to even look at car web sites much less visit a dealership. When we got home from Crossroads, my husband commented he had never seen me enjoy being in a car dealership. I did enjoy it. Everyone at the Crossroads dealership was pleasant without being pushy. The facility was clean, comfortable and cool (got to love the 2 acre indoor showroom :-) More
I was very satisfied with Patrick Rowe. He worked to get what I wanted. I was not satisfied with my dealings with lee Brogan. I felt as if he were trying to slip in higher prices, a higher interest rate, an what I wanted. I was not satisfied with my dealings with lee Brogan. I felt as if he were trying to slip in higher prices, a higher interest rate, and hoping I would not notice. If i had to do it over again, I would have negotiated a firm interest rate before I ever sat down with the finance manager. It was obvious that they did not want me to, and my fault for letting them do it. "Live & Learn". More
