We had a negative experience with Kevin Carter in the Finance department. We made the decision to purchase a 2026 Honda Ridgeline but had no clue how long it would take to sign page after page of docume Finance department. We made the decision to purchase a 2026 Honda Ridgeline but had no clue how long it would take to sign page after page of documents all on an empty stomachs - we had had no lunch... ....As Mr. Carter went on, he then sold us an extended warranty for the truck...as a rule I have never believed in extended warranties. But agreed under the assurance by Mr, Carter that I could change my mind, fill out a form, which he stapled to the contract, and that it would be no problem. ....that very night, the same day as the sale, I realized that I had "bitten off more than I could chew" so I promptly sent Kevin an email. ...days past...nothing from him. I filled out the cancellation form and sent that next. He acknowledged it with the simple reply "Thank you" So I waited and waited.... still no word. Phone calls were not returned; additional emails were never acknowledged. As the 60th day approached, I reached out to the warranty company themselves and received a refund for the warranty that I was PROMISED would be no problem to cancel. In the process I lost $240 in sales tax paid to the State of TN. I feel that the least Mr. Carter could do is refund the Sales Tax for the extended warranty that I didn't want in the first place. Monty's exact words were "these cars cost too much for somethig not to work." He is correct. After four days, someone finally emailed me back about it after I put in a ticket. Still no connection. Do you like being tracked and misled? Then this dealership is for you. Bought a 2026 Honda CR-V here. Salesman spent an hour insisting the car I wanted wasn’t available and pushing a d Then this dealership is for you. Bought a 2026 Honda CR-V here. Salesman spent an hour insisting the car I wanted wasn’t available and pushing a different one, then suddenly admitted it was there when I said I’d leave because I didn’t want a different one. He also kept saying I wasn’t qualified to buy a car on my own and seemed annoyed that I’d already looked up APR rates. I asked multiple times about Spireon (which they advertise all over) and was told they had no connection and the “care package” was just mats. A few weeks later I got an email saying there’s a tracking device in my car that collects and sells geolocation data but that was never disclosed. When I went back, the GM was incredibly unprofessional and aggressive. He called me “delusional” and a “ChatGPT zombie,” talked down to me, claimed he’d “never heard of Spireon,” there’s no Spireon advertisements around, I should be grateful for the device, and that he’s been in the industry 20 years. He kept saying it was a “he said/she said” situation and acted like he knew better, even though I had family with me during the purchase including someone with 30 years of experience in banking related to auto companies. They agreed to remove the device and send a refund, but it’s been months and still no check. On top of that, they’ve sent me emails with another customer’s info (name, car, VIN). They seem to have no handle on data privacy and are just hoping you’re okay with being tracked. More
