I logged myself in the sheet at 705am, asked the lady at the counter how long to wait and she said 10 mins. i would happily have taken an Uber if it was longer. At 720 the driver strolled in and started checking the sheet. I asked him if he was going to actually drive us and he said ya, at 730. i asked if that was a scheduled time and he said it was. Nowhere at the desk is there a schedule of when the shuttle leaves and the lady behind the counter wasn't aware either. He was not helpful nor concerned. I booked an Uber - i wasn't accepting his service level. Look - I am happy to stay and wait or uber if there is no service, but if you advertise one, then lets have it organized and professionally run. We all have busy jobs too. More
The service took over 5 weeks and me calling serval times to get two recalls, two warranty items, and two basic maintenance items completed. This is regarding the recent battery recall notice. Initially my experience with the battery recall was met discouragingly after a waiting over a week for a response to my text/call & was returned by K Initially my experience with the battery recall was met discouragingly after a waiting over a week for a response to my text/call & was returned by Keana. She told me that they could not accommodate me with the recall until maybe October & in the meantime I would have to find a place to park my Lincoln and they would disable the battery & let me know when they could do the work. I could obtain a rental on my own, I would have to pay and let Lincoln reimburse me. I'm going to pay a $500/month car payment and a rental car expense for an indefinite period of time!? That was incredulous and not an option. I explained where I live they do not allow vehicles that are disabled to be left parked for any period of time. She told me there was no where at the dealership to be able to leave my vehicle. I called the Lincoln Concierge service and was referred to Customer Satisfaction Ford Motor Company where a lovely customer service agent Arianna made several calls to help me find a solution to my concern regarding the recall, & driving a car that the battery could catch on fire. I also let her know this is the 3rd long term recall I've had with a Lincoln in the last 10 years. To say I am discouraged with Lincoln ownership is on the border of seeking another type of luxury car when I make my next new car buying decision. The Lincoln Service number at Covert rarely/never responds and it is sometimes days, weeks before I get a text/call back to scheduling service. The end result is always satisfactory when I do get service at/from the dealership, they are attentive, professional and thorough. The reason I have always purchased a Lincoln is because of the Concierge service which is supposed to be outstanding, it falls short at this dealership and I believe they need to spend some attention to this problem. I've tried using Covert's service department multiple times due to them being located so close to my house and every single time has been a huge disappointment. Communication is horrible, and at times non-existent, and much of the technician staff seems under-trained or incompetent for how many mistakes they make. I've been down right lied to by a service advisor and they screwed up something as simple as an emissions test. Good luck getting a loaner. I booked an appointment out nearly 2 months in advance to get one and when it was time to drop off my vehicle they said the person who took my reservation didn't write it down so they couldn't give me a loaner. I was without a vehicle for a month while they "fixed" the Explorer, then had to get it back to fix the "fix", then had to take it back a third time to fix something that they broke during the second period. They stay busy so I doubt anything will ever change but it's been so terrible that I refuse to buy another Ford while Covert is the closest service department to my house, which is a shame because I like Ford and 3 of my last 4 vehicles in the past few years have been Fords. My last purchase was a Tesla and their service experience is light years better than Covert's. More
