Well, why ship a part by USPS in the first place and when it hasn't arrived in a week and a half why not ship it overnight automatically instead of having the customer suggest it. Oh, yeah cause you charge it hasn't arrived in a week and a half why not ship it overnight automatically instead of having the customer suggest it. Oh, yeah cause you charge the 50 bucks to the customer when they're repair is over 3,500.00. Opps we forgot about the state inspection that was requested More
I went to this dealership expecting and willing to pay full advertised price. After noticing there was no tool kit and no carrying case for the two front tops that cost $25 - 30 dollars the salesman said full advertised price. After noticing there was no tool kit and no carrying case for the two front tops that cost $25 - 30 dollars the salesman said no problem we can get those for you. After the test drive we noticed that the tires were very bumpy and noisy. We parked the vehicle and looked at the tires finding they were dry rotted and no good. Mind you they apparently conducted a 125 point inspection to certify the vehicle. (How the tires passed this inspection is beyond me). The dealership decided to just switch wheels and tires from another vehicle so we could do another test drive. After the second test drive the vehicle drove much better and we were ready to buy at the advertised price and this is when it all went south. We went into the office and the salesman came back with an offer with a Covert protection plan for $1,795 and the cost of the bag and removing the good tires and mounting them on the original wheels which were a higher value than the wheel they switched from another vehicle for the good safe tires at $995 when we said we didn't want or agree to either charge the salesman left and came back with the Covert plan lowered to $1,495 and again we said we didn't want the plan. Then I signed a piece of paper stating what we wanted and didn't want and the salesman came back with the manager this time with the price being $1,295 and said he had to cover the cost of placing good safety tires on the original wheels because the tires on the vehicle were dry rotted and totally unsafe. Now if you like a plan being driven down your throat then this is the place for you. The price listed is NOT again NOT the price you will pay. If there is an item listed in their ad and it's not with the vehicle, expect to pay a large sum for it. If an item is bad and unsafe on the vehicle expect to pay a large sum for it. Bottom line they will push for as many $$ as your willing to give up. Lastly, they will get very defensive when you call them on anything. I do NOT recommend this location of Covert to anyone and it's very unfortunate because the Covert family is a very good family. FYI, I have never had this happen to me as long as I've been purchasing vehicles and that's 40 plus years. More
