Got a call from sales agent here at courtesy Nissan asking was I still looking for a vehicle I said yes does your dealership recognize the truth in lending act as regulator of consumers credit transact asking was I still looking for a vehicle I said yes does your dealership recognize the truth in lending act as regulator of consumers credit transactions he said yes I said zero money down is my right according to 15 USC 1605 and no comparable cash transaction necessary when finance charge is present he said it's the banks that's requiring money down I said it's impossible for them to do so the dealership is the trustee in Connection with the consumer credit transaction means the dealership is responsible for the extension of credit and credit is my right 15 USC 1602 (f) and I'm the original creditor in this transaction is exchanging credit for dollars and cents and it's a violation to demand a down payment it's illegal if anyone purchased a vehicle with them have rights to recession if they put money down Toyota finance just got fined for these types of practices finance charge shall be disclosed clearly so a consumer understands what his consideration is in connection with the transaction Consumer credit sale is not a loan plenty case rulings to provide full understanding of what a consumer credit transaction aka purchase money loan agreement means More

In general, no complaints with this dealership. Purchased a new 2022 Frontier & have made 3-4 visits to the service department with excellent results at low cost to me. The finance dept seemed unusually slow in processing the sale, financing, etc. Kept getting the response “it’s a process” when asked what’s taking so long. The General Manager was especially helpful during the sales “negotiations” checking on the value of our trade-in at other group dealers. I will definitely include Courtesy Nissan in the future when I am ready to trade. More
