Customer Service FAIL I will start by saying that when buying a used car, you know you're not guaranteed to drive away issue free for years and years. That being said, it i I will start by saying that when buying a used car, you know you're not guaranteed to drive away issue free for years and years. That being said, it is now 6 weeks from when my husband and I purchased a vehicle from this place and our experience is one that I would never wish on anyone. The car has been in the shop more times than in our possession. We have been without it for almost 3 weeks now and it's getting an entire engine replacement. In the 6 weeks we have had it it's had the wheel hub assembly, pinion seal and now full engine replaced. Now luckily, this was McGrath Certified so warranty pays a portion of these repairs but this car never should have been sold as it was. We accept full responsibility for not having it looked over by a mechanic first, lesson learned. Aside from the issues it's had, the customer service experience we've received has been quite pathetic. We dealt with Joe DeReus, Nate Shelton, Andrew Miller and Mike Eden. Mike is the only one who followed through on his word for us. Dealing with the other guys was a circus. The car had issues on the way home from the sale and instead of just directing us to the warranty provider they tossed us around back and forth between each other. We began recording each and every phone call because we were being told different things from different people within the store. You cannot dispute what has been recorded as hard as they have tried. As I said in the beginning, purchasing a used car has its risks and we totally understand that. Had we been treated well, this review would certainly have been written entirely positive. We are forgiving people, we understand mistakes happen but the series of mistakes between these people are no coincidence. It's unfortunate because McGrath has a pretty decent name but if other people have experienced anything like what we did, I don't see how this business will hold the great reputation that I'm sure it's worked very hard to build. More

While deciding on the car, the salesman and first sales manager were very helpful. When I made the decision to buy and came back to finalize the deal and negotiate the cost of the used car (because that's what you do) I had to work with a different sales manager. We negotiated briefly and the sales manager agreed to lower the cost $500, on a $16,000 vehicle. I agreed deal done everyone's happy. Now for the issue. During the test drive i tried out the mist function on the wipers and the driver side wiper flew off and broke, clearly was not attached. After the deal, when moving items from one vehicle to the next, the salesman informed me that the sales manager was refusing to replace the wiper because he was losing too much on the deal. He was willing to xxxx off a costumer for a $20 wiper. I asked if he was serious, it had to be a joke. When told he meant it I was stunned. This "manager" offered the $500 off but after he acted like I was unreasonable for even trying to negotiate. I will be sharing this story with locals so they know which manager to avoid. Because I think this one sales manager could be the one bad apple there, but as he is a manager it could pollute the rest of the office. It could be coming from above him but my experiences with the other manager and all of the salesman were great. More
