Copeland Toyota responded

As previously discussed we were unaware that this vehicle was in an accident. We provided a CARFAX report on this vehicle and it does not show any accidents. The service records you are referring to were from another Toyota dealership and they cannot disclose the previous customer’s repair history for privacy reasons. We only have access to the summary information that was provided to you before purchase. Once we were notified of this issue we offered to purchase back the vehicle from you and refund your deposit. You have declined our offer to buy back the vehicle and are expecting further compensation. Lastly, ALL pre-owned vehicles posted online have their CARFAX report posted and publically available. We always disclose accidents when that information is accurately reported to CARFAX and/or other sources that are available to us. We have been serving our community with honor and integrity for over 40 years, which is evident by other reviews of our business.
