I was greeted by a service member as soon as I walked in and everything to be done with my car was discussed with me. Had the dealer install the OEM hitch for my 2018 Outback for the main purpose of attaching a bike rack for my ebike. Already bought a Thule rack as Subaru markets compatibility with Thule products. Howeve for the main purpose of attaching a bike rack for my ebike. Already bought a Thule rack as Subaru markets compatibility with Thule products. However after installation I learned that the OEM hitch is not compatible with any Thule racks due to shallow position of pin hole except the one specifically sold by Subaru (which won’t work for ebikes). My dissatisfaction is mainly with Subaru, but I would have expected the dealer to disclose the limited utility of the OEM hitch. My next car will not be a Subaru. More

Pleasant place, people are nice but prices are outrageous and they ALWAYS find something to worry you...this time it's "Your steering wheel pump is leaking but you don't drive the car much so you don't need and they ALWAYS find something to worry you...this time it's "Your steering wheel pump is leaking but you don't drive the car much so you don't need to worry about it." Really? Said it leaks only under pressure, so every time I drive car. Pass Insp.? yes. Not part of insp. Really? fix it? Don't have parts right now, takes hours anyway. Really? So I guess I'll get nailed for it next year at insp. time unless it fails before that. I dislike what in my opinion is a "terroristic" business practice. "Be pleasant, tell them good news and then hit them with a "non-urgent" issue." Keep them hooked. What a shame. Good car, lousy practice. Also ALWAYS find something that ends up keeping me there for HOURS longer and is expensive. Never know what they're gonna come up with just know it'll cost me most of my day and alot of money. Stinks. More
