Purchased a used Escape, which I found out later was grossly overpriced. It was sold to me as Certified Blue Oval, yet within three weeks, it had to be returned as they sold it with bad tires (wear bar grossly overpriced. It was sold to me as Certified Blue Oval, yet within three weeks, it had to be returned as they sold it with bad tires (wear bars were showing), and the first transmission flush had not been done, causing shuddering when shifting at highway speeds. I got new tires and the tranny flush free of charge. Master cylinder seal went bad a year later, necessitating adding brake fluid every 4 months, no biggie. Brake light would come on and often go back off. It did this right before a routine oil change, which I got as part of a package called The Works. Right after I left, the brake light came on, and sure enough, they hadn't topped it off or even commented on it, so I feel that the $47.00 spent for The Works was a waste of my money. Last year, during another routine oil change, I was informed that the oil plug was stripped out, their mechanics fault, as I only took it there for oil changes, (big believer in using Motorcraft parts and oil), and that they would replace, at no charge, the oil pan and gasket, plus pay for my rental while my truck was being repaired. Five minutes later the service manager came out and told me that they jumped the gun, it was fine, blah blah blah. I immediately called my husband, who had me put the service manager on the phone. He chewed him a new one, and told him that he wasn't going to quick fix it with thread tape or putty, then tell me "sorry" when it wore out and caused my engine to lock up from no oil. A woman I work with bought a new Sportrac and took it in for it's first routine oil change and tire rotation. as she pulled out of the dealership, one of the front wheels fell off, due to the lug nuts not being tightened. Find a good, reliable repair shop and stay away from this hellhole of a dealership. Crooked sales dept. and shoddy service dept. That being said, I love Fords. The Escape I bought there was good, still on the road, with over 153,000 miles and still runs like new. More
This dealership is a load of crooks. They took advantage of the fact that I was buying my first car and sold me a load of trash. Within a month I had to fix the transmission and then within 6 months I had $ of the fact that I was buying my first car and sold me a load of trash. Within a month I had to fix the transmission and then within 6 months I had $1000 dollars more worth of repairs. 2 weeks after that I took it back to the dealership because it was broken again and I had to cry and tell a sob story just to get them to look at the car. They found another 1700 dollars worth of damage to the car all of which was there when I bought it. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I have never been so disappointed with customer service, honesty and integrity in my entire life. More
I went to the dealership to have some routine maintenance performed. I was told quite gruffly that my 1993 Ranger was "TOO OLD". The dealership won't service vehicles over ten years. Consequently, I have performed. I was told quite gruffly that my 1993 Ranger was "TOO OLD". The dealership won't service vehicles over ten years. Consequently, I have never returned to the dealership. If they won't take care of me when I walk in the back door, I'll never enter the front door. More
