I brought it to Commonwealth expecting to learn that it needed an expensive repair such as a new wiper motor. They took it in for a diagnostic. To my surprise and delight, they came out fifteen minutes later with the good news that there was no charge! They only needed to tighten a loose screw, one that was hidden from view. They could have easily done unnecessary and costly repairs and I would not have known the difference. They are honest and professional. This is the second Honda Pilot I've bought form them. While I waited to learn the fate of my rear wiper I actually test drove the new model! More

New brakes at Commonwealth Honda I recently visited Commonwealth Honda because my brakes were making a terrible whining sound. All heads turned toward me when I pulled into the service bay, and Glenn Wallace came to greet me when I got out of the car. He gave me a friendly smile and assured me that he could help to fix that issue. “I know exactly what you need,” he said, as he walked around my car to document any exterior defects. At his desk, he explained to me that my braking system was designed with a safety feature that makes a noise when the pads get low. New pads and resurfaced rotors would make the noise go away and make the vehicle safer to drive. He gave me a time estimate for the completion of the work (later that day) and offered to have the Commonwealth shuttle bring me home. It’s a nice service, but I had expected a long repair and had arranged for my own ride. Earlier than expected, Glenn personally called me back to confirm that the vehicle was ready for pick up. Then when I got the car, Glenn surprised me with the news that all future brake pads would be free for as long as they are serviced/replaced by Commonwealth Honda. As I drove away, I was quite pleased to hear absolutely nothing when I applied my brakes at the first stop sign. I fully recommend the service center at Commonwealth Honda for all your vehicle maintenance. More

I arrived at their service center without an appointment, and I needed to get an oil change and a tire rotation for my vehicle. Jorge greeted me with a friendly welcome and gave me an initial estimate for how long the work would take. He clearly set customer expectations right away, and directed me to the customer waiting area where I could enjoy complimentary coffee and cookies. By the way, this waiting area includes an HD home theater! In exactly the amount of time that I was told, Jorge came back to tell me that my car was ready. He summarized the work that was done, let me know that everything looked good, and informed me where I could find my car (even down to the parking space number). I fully recommend the service center at Commonwealth Honda for all your vehicle maintenance. More

However, I made the final deal with the sales manager (Steve - not listed below) over the phone, by the time I arrived (within 2 hours) to do paperwork the car had sold. I understand that this could happen and that a sales rep (Ainsley Brown) may not know this. However, considering I received three calls over two days, and we made a verbal deal over the phone I feel I should have received a call notifying me that the car was no longer available soon after we agreed to purchase it. Another "similar car" was offered, without the entertainment package, and reeked of covered-up cigarette smoke...same price. Call it what you will; bait and switch, backing out of a deal, or simply poor customer service, they needlessly wasted my time (over 2 hours altogether). I feel that the sales manager would be aware that a car he helped sell was not available, if not immediately then soon after. I would be happy to hear of a fourth alternative that would believably explain this, but I cannot think of one. Not only will I not return to Commonwealth Honda, I think I will avoid Commonwealth altogether. More
