That said, the only real glitch in the process was when we picked up the car the following day. I partly blame myself for this. We picked up the car and drove home. Upon parking it in the garage my wife wanted to take a few things out of the back. When she went to open the tailgate she noticed to small dents directly under the chrome trim exactly in the same location on the left and right. I immediately called the dealership. They said to bring the vehicle back. When I got there the manager came out and looked at it and could not explain how they got there or how it didn't get picked up on the initial prep of the vehicle. To there credit they did provide a loaner car and proceeded to repair our new car. When we got it back 4 days later it looked perfect and they also refilled the gas tank again. Moral to this story is I should have looked the vehicle over from top to bottom before taking possession of it. More

Since I have poor credit (due to student loans) I wasn't expecting anything to progress past a test drive since I was denied from all other dealerships. I am now a proud owner of a used brand new car. Iban had all the insight in my first time buyer questions and respectfully put up with my extreme skepticism (I wasn't an easy one). Brian Philo got me a better interest rate than I could have imagined and really helped with my overall monthly payment in mind. Extremely thoughtful and genuine with his intention. I'm impressed, and as long as they're around, I'll be coming back. More

However, I had such a positive experience otherwise with them, I am posting this for free. I had a terrific buying experience with them. I spent several months shopping for a Honda Odyssey online. I would negotiate a price and a color with a dealer, only to arrive at the dealership to find that no such car existed and no one seemed to know who was doing the internet negotiating, but hey, since I'm here, why not consider buying a different color at a much higher price. It happened many times - Boch Honda of Norwood and Herb Chambers of Burlington - both tried the old bait and switch. In the end, I figured that the problem was that they simply did not have the color I wanted on the lot, so they would have to trade another dealer for it, which would cut into their profit, so they weren't willing to do it at the price they promised. Frustrated, I looked through online inventories and found the color at Commonwealth Honda. So I went there, expecting another frustrating experience. I was pleasantly surprised to finally find a straight forward transaction. They met the price that Burlington Honda had dangled in front of me, and they were very pleasant to deal with. It was completely straight forward and painless. A week later they sent me a nice card and a tin of cookies. Classy! This was a couple of years ago and they still call me on my birthday and sing Happy Birthday to my voice mail. I had a very positive buying experience with them and it was in such contrast to all the other greater Boston dealers (who were to a dealer awful to deal with - I almost went to Toyota - why are their dealers so much better ?!). In the end we really wanted the Honda so it was a great relief to finally find an honest Honda dealer! More
