Shop Them First! Why waste your time? After visiting my local Honda dealership (where I have been going to service my vehicles for 10 years) to see what options I had available to me for m After visiting my local Honda dealership (where I have been going to service my vehicles for 10 years) to see what options I had available to me for my next CRV with just my trade in, I was not hopeful that what I wanted was going to be a reality. I was told my options were going with a lesser model and giving up features I am accustomed to, picking up a higher payment or going with a lease. None of these options appealed to me. I went home, got online and looked up Commonwealth because I have been listening to their ads forever to shop them last. I had never been there. I decided to write a message that I was looking for a new CRV EX, and I wanted it below my current monthly payment price, and a 5 year payment plan and no cash, just my 2012 CRV EX trade. I received a phone call the next morning and made an appointment to come in on Monday night. When I arrived, Joel Cartegena was there to greet me. He called down the gal I talked to who was responsible for the online conversation, and they told me immediately what I wanted was doable and in less than an hour, I had a new car picked out. Brian Philo somehow managed to throw in a much better warranty deal (6 year/ 100,000 miles) and still give me a payment within $10 of my current payment. I picked up my car that Wednesday, all inspected, registered and shiny new. No hassles. Joel and Brian really worked hard to see me happy - and I highly recommend them and Commonwealth Honda. They made this purchase the best and easiest experience I ever had buying a vehicle! Thank you guys - I appreciated that there were no games and you didn't waste my time! More

I was tired of buying cars from local dealership corners because they only care about aelling you a car and make a profit. There is nothing wrong with that but the buyer needs a reliable guarantee and a piece of mind that if anything goes wrong they will have your back. Well not such luck here, I kept having to invest time and money fixing a never ending problem. The other thing was my credit score, it was not very good, I have been working on my credit for quite some time and I was not sure who was going to help me without killing me with high interest. I finally decided to call Commomwealth motors in Lawrence and asked for the financial advisor, that is when I met Brian Philo. The first thing that Brian made sure to do was to make me feel as I was talking to a long time friend, he said things that made me feel better about not having good credit and by the end of our phone conversation I felt like a had a friend looking out for me. Brian made sure to pick the right sells person to help me out with the selection process before I stop by the dealership. Brian made sure I was treated like royalty and above all, he made sure that I was pleased with my vehicle. He was not rushing me or pushing me to buy the most expensive car. He kept his promise to get me the right car for the right price and he made sure I had an excellent guarantee by the dealer. The sells person the Brian recommend, Mr. Wilson, treated me just as great as Brian did, he also made sure that I had the right car. My experience with Brian Philo, Wilson, and the whole dealership was the best experience I've had in a long time. I arrived at their service center on 11Aug16 to address the maintenance minder code “A1” that popped up on my dashboard display. Doug Tibaudo greeted me immediately, looked at my minder code, and quickly informed me that the code signaled the need for an oil change. Doug walked me over to his station, and looked up my service record. He happily told me that my wait time would be no more than an hour. This was great news since I showed up without an appointment. I spent the next hour watching a movie in Commonwealth’s relaxing waiting area which provides free coffee and cookies. In exactly the amount of time that I was told, Doug came back to tell me that my car was ready. He summarized the work that was done, let me know that everything looked good, and informed me which parking space I could find my car. I fully recommend the service center at Commonwealth Honda for all your vehicle maintenance. More
