MY OPINION: THEY DID NOT DEAL WITH US FAIRLY I just traded in my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LT Z for a Honda CR-V. The salesman was very polite, but a typical car salesman. He asked me what I wanted I just traded in my 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LT Z for a Honda CR-V. The salesman was very polite, but a typical car salesman. He asked me what I wanted for my Malibu, I told him $12,000. They said "Well it has 45,000+ miles on it and CAR-FAX says it has had two accident reports on it. How about $8,200"? I proved to them, via police reports that the 2 "accidents" were minor scrapes, but they said it will depend on what the auto auctions are paying for this type of car. I told them all they had to do was polish-out the scratches on the rear quarter and wash the car. The car is in almost showroom condition and also has 4 brand new tires and a new battery. Then the salesman told me they would have to replace the entire rear quarter. Another lie. Finally they gave me $9,200 as a trade-in value. They have had the car for only 2 days and it is up on their web site for $16,495. They say, "Shop Us Last .... You'll love us". Ya right, couldn't even give me a decent trade amount. Never again. One funny thing: The factory window sticker says "Full Tank of Fuel - -no charge". But Commonwealth only filled the tank to 3/4. So, if they really sell up to 40 cars per day (per their calculations) this means they save up to 10 tank fulls per day, which adds up to a lot of gas savings at the end of the year. As I said earlier: WHO CARES. More
