My experience at Colonial was amazing, they made it so easy for me to get my new car. There was no pushy sales tactics and everyone was incredibly laid back and friendly. Having just moved to the US from abroad I found it difficult to find anyone who could deal with me. After a 5 minute conversation with Greg he had a good feeling he could help me. By the next day he had the wheels in motion and the day after that I signed for the car. It was exactly what I was after. Essentially within one week I was able to drive away the car. More than anything, I could tell that Greg really believes that the cars he sells are great cars, and he can back it up as well, with knowledge. The other sales people and the finance person, Anna were great to chat with as well. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. More
The sales team was very prompt and courteous. They showed me the exact vehicle I was interested in and showed me all the options and features included. The rest of the dealership staff were courteous and when I made the purchase, they did everything possible to have the vehicle ready for me to drive home the next day. First off I love cars but I hate buying them. I don't like the process nor have I enjoyed may of the people who are a part of that process. This is why I so highly recommend Anya at Medford VW. No endless, artless attempts to pressure, corner or push you into a purchase. She is a professional salesperson. I highly value good sales people. And in the automotive sales community around Boston they are few and far between. The story: I needed a new GTI. I visited two other dealerships before Medford VW (one because I had previous experience with, one because it was in the next town over) Both were horrible -- couldn't drive the car I wanted to buy, questions about my seriousness, general suckiness. I searched on this very site for a highly rated salesperson and came across the glowing reviews for Anya. They were correct. I went over, drove the car I wanted, casually talked about price (which resulted in a really good price from my perspective), told her I needed some time to think and was respectfully given that time. When I did purchase the dealership went out of their way to hunt down the exact model I wanted. When there was an issue with the terms of my lease Anna, the business manager, worked those issues out in my favor. Throughout Anya was able to move the deal along without the stupid application of pressure or the rude and pushy pettiness that so many car sales people seem to fall into as a default way of operating. The point is if you are looking for a new VW you owe it to yourself to visit Anya. I have bought a lot of cars and typically am not the kind of guy to write one of these reviews up, especially one this positive and glowing. But she and VW in Medford earned the praise. They earned my business. And I think, if you visit them, you'll find they will earn yours too. More

Bill Burns treated me with friendly respect and helped me get exactly what I wanted at the best possible price. The car was delivered immediately as promised and Bill spent over 2 hours with me after the agreement was completed. Anna in the finance department walked me through the entire lease and was a was a true delight. I was never rushed or pressured. I would recommend this dealership, and especially Bill Burns, to anyone looking for a car. In fact, I just recommended him to one of my best friends as she is also a first time car buyer. The whole process was quick and painless. Thanks, in part, to additional help from Anya. I was given the ultimate decision about making the choices I made, I never felt pressured and I never felt like I was being had or scammed. I feel like the auto industry is learning some good lessons about treating paying customers with respect now because of the economy. The last few years or so I felt like the quality and service from auto dealers and personnel has been shoddy at best. I'm happy to say that this experience has changed my mind. It was fair, honest, and friendly. I know I am in good hands and would recommend Colonial VW to family and friends. More

Not only did he answered my 5-million questions and let us test drive several cars with our 7-month old but then he did NOT harass us when it took us over a month to finally decide on what type of car we wanted. Greg is a definite car enthusiast and could easily explain all of the pros and cons of the cars we were looking at. He always listened to our preferences and never pressured us to get things we weren't interested in. After having been to a few dealerships who employed snakes or idiots, it was so refreshing to work with the folks at Colonial VW. More

I have not had a VW in a long time (my last one was air cooled), but based on this experience I'd buy another car from them. I got a chance to tour the service and parts department; both seemed clean and organized. The whole place appeared to be well run. Everyone working their was customer oriented. I have not used either yet, but I plan to do all my service at their facility. I picked Colonial because they are close to my house, but after talking with the staff (and buying the car) I would work with them even if they were not close to my home. More
