I have now bought 2 cars from Colonial. The first was a New Beetle in 2008 . I had all my scheduled maintenance done there, and was very happy with the service. I also had a couple of minor issues which were covered by warranty (power windows weren't working correctly) and they fixed everything in a timely and friendly manner. Hours ago I bought my second car from them and am also satisfied with the experience. Al Abramson was my salesman, and he was very friendly, not high pressure (I actually had to tell him I wanted to buy the car instead of him trying to force it on me) and if I asked a question he didn't know the answer to, he asked someone who could answer it. The four out of five stars is for the normal annoying buying-a-new-car dance, and not for anything I'm specifically angry about. I've had some terrible experiences with car dealers (Going to Commonwealth Volkswagen in 2008 was like a visit to hell.) but Colonial is not one of them, and I would recommend them and Al specifically to anyone looking to buy a VW. More
