I contacted Colonial through GM's internet site, and was greatly surprised to hear back very quickly from Cynthia Cardiello, Colonial's internet sales manager. I'd contacted other dealers' internet sales people when searching for previous vehicles, and generally got no response or a short note that basically said "if you want any information, come into the dealership." Cynthia was not like that at all. I told her I was interested in a Terrain with certain features, and in no time at all she was sending me information and photos of vehicles she'd found. No lack of information at all with Cynthia! We had extended text and e-mail exchanges, talked features and pricing, anything I needed to know. I did not actually meet Cynthia face to face until I finally found time to stop by and take a test drive. I liked the Terrain, and within days Cynthia had found just the model I wanted and had it delivered to Colonial, ready for pick-up. Cynthia is friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, and just doesn't give up until she has found the right vehicle at a reasonable price. Everyone I talked to at Colonial was very nice, but Cynthia set the bar very high for everyone else to match. This is a very unusual thing for me to say, but I actually ENJOYED this car-buying experience! More

We had looked around our area (Altoona), and found we both really liked the Outlander Sport. We started shopping around local Mitsubishi dealerships and came across Colonial Motor Mart. Not only did they come in way cheaper than all other dealerships, they were very polite and helpful. When we looked in Altoona, we were looking at the ES model. For what a dealership in Altoona wanted for an ES, we ended up buying a SE for close the price (including some discounts that the other dealership were not willing to add). And I ended up with the color I truly wanted. Colton did an amazing job going over the vehicle, showing us how to use all of the nifty features, and getting us a great price. Chris, who also helped, was wonderful as well. We could not be any happier with our new vehicle and the service we received. Thank you for everything More

"Old school" car purchase At my age and 50-some vehicles later, I have only had three or four experiences that would warrant my return to a dealership. I stay away from the large dealerships to avoid being insulted by salesmen and avoid playing the back/forth haggling game. In MY case, I want things settled quickly by an informed salesperson educated in the vehicle he is representing. I felt that I found that at ‘Colonial’. Beating a price by a couple of hundred dollars doesn’t necessarily mean contentment down the road. I did not leave with my intended vehicle finding another more suited my wife’s taste with a fair deal. I will most likely return in the future for my first vehicle choice thanks to John, Mike and a more than helpful Matt Hilty. The dealership has already been recommended to a potential buyer More
