I was shopping for a new Honda CR-V EX. My Costco auto shopping program directed me to Coggin Honda. Nelson Merced called me. He said he could sell it to us for the price that a new EX would be. He held the vehicle till we could get there that night and look at it. We were very happy with the CR-V EXL and bought it. I Bought a new car from them and every thing was smooth at first, I was told I was approved and I had already selected a car ,and after hours of hagling over the price everything seemed to be about to draw at first, I was told I was approved and I had already selected a car ,and after hours of hagling over the price everything seemed to be about to draw to a close when abuptly I was informed I needed a cosigner. I thought wow this is not right but what ever so I called a famliy memeber to get a cosign after getting that taken care of I was finalizing the paperwork when I noticed the names had been reveresed on the paper work, now its going on 6 hours and I just wanted to get out of there, when I ask about the mix up I was informed that it didn't matter whoses name was where and he would note to fix it in the morning well that never happened and I am now driveing a car that is in my famliy members name as well as registered to them and after hours of hagling they say it can't be fixed and blame it on Honda Financial, Honda Financial Blames it on them but nobody is willing to fix the problem , I have been treated like dog crap while trying to fix this, made fun of, ridiculed and lied to. corporate greed has obviously overrun the customer service of this dealership More

I first went to the Coggin Website and got "pre-approval" for a new Honda Accord. Over the next few days I received several phone calls and emails inviting me to come in and look at their inventory. I got in contact with an Internet Sales rep and told him exactly what I was looking for. I tried to make it clear to him that I have a packed schedule and was not in the mood to have my time wasted. I asked him to please let me know if he could not meet my wishes. He assured me that he could, so I made an appointment with him. I met with him a couple of days later. Within 20 minutes he offered me an overly inflated payment for an Accord. I told him that I had already made him aware of what I wanted. He said there was nothing he could do. I thanked him for his time and left. The next day he called me back and apologized. He said he "went to bat for me" and got me a deal. Funny how things change. I agreed to meet with him again, but also requested again that he not waste my time. I had three appointments that morning that I had to keep. He promised he would make it quick. Long story short, we came to an agreement on a deal. I signed all the paperwork, they gave me the keys and owners manual. I was just waiting to sign the final paperwork. I missed two of my appointments, waited two and a half hours, for them to come back to me and tell me that they could not go through with the deal they had proposed. I have never felt so jerked around in my life! I was a repeat customer with Coggin, had an approved credit rating, been on my job for almost eight years, been at my residence for almost 3 years, and they still tried to con me. I will never step foot in that dealership again and I strongly suggest that no one else does!! I have since been, not pre-approved, but bank approved for a loan greater than the one I was negotiating with Coggin Honda. I am now driving a brand new Toyota, and couldn't be happier with the experience I had purchasing it. I find it very upsetting that in today's market that there are still businesses that don't respect the buyer's power. Coggin Honda, and all of it's employees and executives should be greatly ashamed of themselves. I seriously doubt that Mr. Charles Oglesby, President and CEO of Asbury Automotive Group, will be pleased with the letter I am currently drafting to him directly. More

My first contact with Coggin Honda of Orlando was through Rosmarie. She contacted me in response to my American Express Buyer's Program. Her enthusiasms came through the telephone and she set up an appointment with Dave Drenning who was immediately available when we arrived. He determined the model vehicle and features we wanted, ensured it was available and facilitated the appraisal of our trade-in. He was very professional and did not try to push the sale and despite his relatively laid back approach, we had an agreed upon deal in about two hours which included the test drive. While we were completing some paperwork, Tom Maier who works in the front office area took the new car to the detail shop to make sure it would be detailed as quickly as possible. This didn't seem to be part of his job description but it clearly reflects the team effort that the personnel of this dealership put into their sales. Overall, I would recommend Coggin Honda of Orlando to any of my friend, and even my mother, if she were alive! For the record, this is the first time I've ever been to Coggin, I'm not related to anyone who works there, and don't know anyone who works there. But they made me feel like I was a very important customer the whole time I was there. Coggin Honda of Orlando is a super dealership in my opinion. And Dave Drenning is a super salesman. More

We were given a very fair amount for our trade and Coggin Honda worked with us on the numbers to make sure the lease (and buyout) were within our range. There were no surprises and no hidden capitalized costs, and we weren't pushed into the accord (the more expensive of the two). The whole experience was professional and stress free.
