Just wanted to say thank you for all your help. My wife loves her enclave, she finally got to drive it on a 3 hour trip and was very impressed by everything. It drives like a dream but it likes to go a little too fast, we will have to be careful not to get any speeding tickets. Our whole family fits with room to spare. We have no complaints about the enclave at all it is a great used vehicle and there we no surprises. I don't think you could have represented it any better in our dealings. Also I talked with American Radio and they are sending us a new nav sd card with the Canadian maps. They were very helpful with any questions I had about the Rosen system which my kids love. They won't quit playing with the touch screen. I have answered a hundred questions about the vehicle and the process of getting it imported. I have told everybody about the excellent service and how easy you and coggins made the process. After going to 5 different dealers in town I finally landed at Coggin of Orange Park. Which is a thirty minute drive from house. We were in the market to scale down from a Tahoe to a smaller SUV. After all the pushy sales people I finally met up with Sharon Ellis, internet sales director. She was wonderful. We test drove a 2008 ford Edge and loved it. After going home with my husband to think it over I called Sharon that morning and said lets go ahead. Sharon had all the paperwork ready and all financing work ready. I came back the next day and was in and out within 20 mins. My husband and I have have purchased many new and used vehicles over the years and this was the best experience I have ever had. I will only deal with Sharon from now on. Thank you to Sharon and Gus (our finance guy) for all your hard work! More

On Wednesday I received a phone call from salesman Mike Powell regarding this application and we began the pre-approval process. Over the course of the next 3 days and many calls and emails, all information necessary was provided to Mike Powell so that when my husband and I arrived for our 1:30 appointment on Saturday March 27, 2010 we would have all paperwork in order and be ready to proceed quickly with the purchase/trade-in. I was very clear with Mike Powell how much we wanted to spend, our deposit, our trade-in and what we wanted our monthly payments to be in the range of. On Saturday, my husband Clyde and I drove from JTB to Blanding to complete the purchase of the 2004 Toyota Tacoma Truck. We arrived at the dealership at 1:10. As we were the only two people on the lot, we were not greeted by anyone until 15 minutes later, not even by our salesman Mike but by Sharon the Internet Manager. We were brought in and seated at Mike’s desk for a couple of minutes then we were told Mike was not there. We went back outside and waited. After being at the dealership for over 30 minutes, Sharon came back out and asked us to come in and complete some paperwork. Mike Powell, who was now at the dealership and had been for some time, still had not spoken to us, his scheduled appointment and sale. Sharon asked the same questions, Mike and I had gone over for 3 days. Mike Powell had not processed any of our information and we needed to give it all over again. Needless to say we were not happy as we were assured this was completed. Mike Powell wasted 3 days of my time asking me for information he did nothing with. We had to start from scratch and again complete all information with Sharon. Sharon processed our information and was not even in the realm of what Mike and I had discussed several times and even what we told her personally. We explained these dollar amounts would not work for us and proceeded to leave. We were not offered to look at other vehicles, I asked where Mike was to no response, she could not have cared less if we purchased at all. So we left the dealership with no truck and a lot of our time wasted. We have never dealt with ruder people in our life. A car salesman, especially a Toyota, who doesn’t even greet or say hello to his customer who has a scheduled appointment with him. It is unheard of. We still have not heard from even as we left in disgust. This is your idea of customer service? We wish we would have looked at your online reviews before even contacting your dealership, as this seems to be typical behavior. We have taken our business elsewhere and after pre-approval Dimitry and Dennis at Coggin Toyota at the Avenue’s are currently looking for a truck for us. They were very friendly and did not want us to leave because they wanted our trade-in! They actually listened to us and did their jobs, something that was not done at Coggin Pontiac GMC of Orange Park. Below is a breakdown of our complaint against Mike Powell: • Information was provided to him to pre-approve us: HE DID NOT • I called him to verify information and that we were all set: HE DID NOT • We made a schedule appointment, we showed up: HE DID NOT • We were on the lot for over any hour greeted by Sharon: HE DID NOT • Another dealership served us extremely well: HE DID NOT • Rude, condescending tone throughout every call This complaint is being filed with Coggin Corporate, several auto agencies, the Better Business Bureau, and many online dealership review websites so that no one else has to go through the shabby treatment we did.
