First off let me just say great attitude from the moment I drove up to the moment I drove home with my purchase. This was not my first time at a dealership but it was my BEST one. I scanned the web looking I drove up to the moment I drove home with my purchase. This was not my first time at a dealership but it was my BEST one. I scanned the web looking for what i wanted and Coggin Buick had it. I finally got a chance to come in and was greeted with a warm welcome (not that phony smile and stuff) genuine handshake. I spotted the vechicle i was going to leave with if everything worked out.. Rodney listened got the keys got my info that he needed then we drove off the lot. He found a spot for us to swap to let me drive. The vechicle was better then i thought and made an offer. Now the fun begins... I was treated by everybody with respect and friendship. I got the vechicle with what i could afford to put down and they got me an extended warranty and at a great interest rate for a used car. The main reason I had to write in about this deal was no xx straight talk and making me Happy and not playing a numbers game on me like oh no more money down or this or that.. I dropped my Pontiac G5 at the service department with small laundry list of maintenance and minor repair items. Though most of the items were properly diagnosed and addressed that same day, I later foun small laundry list of maintenance and minor repair items. Though most of the items were properly diagnosed and addressed that same day, I later found that one item was not properly diagnosed. I submitted comments accordingly through this website as well as through the dealership's contact page. That same day I received a courteous call from the service manager, Kevin Belfry, who asked me to bring the car back so that they could make things right. I brought the car back the next day and they arranged to bring me to work, and even put me in a rental car when the repair could not be completed in one day. My service advisor, Paula Williams (who was very pleasant), routinely called me to keep me apprised of the repair status. As soon as I arrived home after picking up the car, Kevin Belfry called to ensure that I was satisfied. The take away: Everyone can make an occasional error, so what matters most is how things get handled when that error occurs. I am highly impressed with the way this dealership stepped up and made things right for me. They did it right - very refreshing. Way to go Kevin and Paula! More
When we walked onto the lot he was asked to assist us since he was the only one without a client at the time. He asked what we were looking for in a car, suv or truck. When we informed him we wanted to look at SUVs he walked us through as far as size and travel needs. After discussing what we wanted he said the GMC Terrain would be probably the right suv for us. He had us set in one and he walked us through everything it would do and explained all the options and how they worked. He thrn suggest we take one for a test drive so we would know that was what we wanted. During the drive he explained again how everything worked and everything the suv was capable of doing. After we returned from the test drive he asked again if we were sure thats what we wanted or did we want to look at any other suvs. We told him that was exactly what we wanted and he then asked if we were ready to buy and we said we were so he asked we knew what color we wanted so he walked us through all the Terrains they had on the lot and said if they didn't have one like we wanted they could get it for us. We found the one we really liked on the lot so he took us iside to meet every body in the showroom. We set down at his desk and he filled out all the paperwork. After completing the paperwork we were introduced to the finance manager who was going to fill out our paperwork. When he took us into the finance office he said he would get our new suv fueled and that we would have to bring it back for us to get it cleaned up which we did the next day. After we completed the paperwork he took us outside to the suv and showed us how everything worked. When we came in the next day to have it detailed he entertained us until the car was ready. He then took us outside and explained everything again in detail so we would know how it worked. He told us should we every have any questions to please come back and he will explain it to us. Every body made sure the car was cleaned up to our expections. It was the faster process we have ever been through when buying a new car. He has since followed up to make sure everything was going good with our new car. More
Harold Dumas managed to turn car buying into a "pleasurable" experience. That in itself is a rare thing! When our new vehicle was delivered, he had us take it for a test drive and went over all the features and how they worked again. He even took the time to setup multiple features for us. Harold's professional standards, customer service and attention to detail would have turned us into loyal customers...But it was the little things that impressed us the most and showed his true respect and appreciation for every customer! We test drove several cars and during one of the test drives I had my husband change the radio station. Harold cared enough to pay attention and program that station into the actual purchased vehicle before we picked it up. That kindness, attention to detail, and customer appreciation touched me. I bought a GMC pickup from Anthony. I specifically asked for him when I arrived at the dealership because of the outstanding experience my wife had a year ago buying a crossover from him. Harold Dumas took the time to get to know us and make sure we were comfortable. He took us out to the vehicle we were interested in and we test drove it.
