We are in agreement with the previous posts on this dealership. Very friendly staff. They are not pushy at all. Buying a new or used vehicle can be a very exciting and stressful thing to do. We wor dealership. Very friendly staff. They are not pushy at all. Buying a new or used vehicle can be a very exciting and stressful thing to do. We worked with Fred at the San Juan dealership and Joe at the Costa Mesa dealership. The two vehicles we were interested in were located at the Costa Mesa lot. Joe assisted us with our test drive and was great. We handled the sale with Fred through the San Juan store. The prices are good and the used vehicle selection was good as well. I can't review the new vehicle selection because we were focused on a used vehicle. The only thing that caused me some concern, as one reviewer mentioned, was the dealership automatically adding/charging for Nitro Fill in the tires and Interior/Exterior protection coating. Overall, we would recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. It's usually rare to find customer service of this caliber at car dealerships. More
Everyone made it a pleasurable experience by listening and working with me. I never felt pressured by anyone. Additionally, Jesus, their mechanic, is trustworthy. I bought a VW Beetle from this car de and working with me. I never felt pressured by anyone. Additionally, Jesus, their mechanic, is trustworthy. I bought a VW Beetle from this car dealership instead of a VW dealership because the Huntington Beach McKenna VW dealership, once attempted to rip me off for $750. on a VW Beetle warranty-covered repair. This is my second VW beetle. And, I love it! More
Easiest negotiation I've ever had buying a car. Bought a Ram and I'll go back next time. First I arranged an appointment by phone with Ryan Lake First I arranged an appointment by phone with Ryan Lake (Sales Manager) told him type and color of car that I wanted(2011/2012 Chrysler 300 sedan). First I arranged an appointment by phone with Ryan Lake (Sales Manager) told him type and color of car that I wanted(2011/2012 Chrysler 300 sedan). Upon arriving at the dealership I noticed that they had pulled the car that we talked about into the Bay area. Ryan met me on the sales floor and took me to the car with the technical service man standing by. The "Tech-Man" was great he answered all of my questions about the car(very knowledgeable) showed me the key features and took me on a test drive. At that point if all I had to do was turn in my pre-approved check and take the car at the quoted price, it would have been the best car buying experience ever. But..... I set down with Ryan in an open Office with one sales manager working with a couple sitting right next to us, an open office next door with about three sales managers, also the door stayed open the whole time. There was no privacy at all, really uncomfortable. Once Ryan told me the out the door price(OTD)I asked to see the invoice, me not knowing exactly the right thing to ask for (what I wanted was the draft copy of the Retail Installment Sales Contract in order to look at line by line what each item cost and what I was paying for)he gave me a copy of a generic window sticker with the basic info and total price. He then proceed to ask questions which seemed like credit approval questions, I reminded him that I was already pre-approved by my credit union. He said that he may be able to get a better deal and I said no thanks. He then took all of the paperwork and told me to wait a little while so that the "Finance man could prepare the final paperwork. This too about what seemed like 20 to 30 minutes. I was mentally prepared knowing that part of the Finance Man job is to "hard sale" the extras, extended warranty, Tracking system, security system , etc. But what I was not prepared for was items that I had not been told about that were already added: --"Nitro Fill" for the tires which I told when informed that I did not want an the Finance man told me to talk to Ryan about. --The Orange Coast Protection Plus Vehicle Appearance Protectant Sealant(OCPPVAPS) 5 Year Limited Warranty which cost $499.00 Which I also stated that I did not want. For both of these items I needed to talk to Ryan, at first the Finance Man said that I had to buy them because the Nitro was already in the tires and the Vehicle Appearance Protectant Sealant was already applied to the inside and outside of the car. At that point it seemed like an underhanded tactic and I was ready to walk away. Ryan was called and he took off the Nitro price and half of the OCPPVAPS but still did not fully explain why the Nitro and the sealant both were preapplied and I would have not had a choice in the matter. After that situation was handled the finance man completed the hard sale and we wrapped everything up by signing all of the paperwork. I had wait a while longer for them to get the car ready. The Tech-Man came back out and went over the New Vehicle Delivery Check Sheet with me. Once the Car was ready the Floor Manager walked me to the car and gave a very good over view to ensure I know how to operate everything in the car. Lets call it Very Happy with a Headache.... Very Happy to have gotten a great deal on a Quality 2011 Chrysler 300. Headache of what it took to get to that point. Yes I would recommend the dealership to a friend while also tell them about my buying experience. GTF More
I requested Internet quotes from 4 Jeep dealers and Tommy Jackson was not only the first to reply, his professionalism was apparent right from the start. His pricing was very competitive and he worked hard Jackson was not only the first to reply, his professionalism was apparent right from the start. His pricing was very competitive and he worked hard to be sure he found the exact vehicle (Wrangler Unlimited) I wanted. Just as impressive was his willingness to come in on his day off to make it more convenient to me since I was driving 60 miles. When I arrived at Orange Coast - San Juan Capistrano I was greeted immediately and my transaction went exactly as we discussed in our email exchanges. Most importantly, their low sales pressure made the experience very enjoyable. I will certainly return to this dealer when it comes time for a new vehicle! More
Wonderful overall experience, friendly employees. Most of all amazing prices. No pressure which is the best you can ask for when shopping for a new car. Also - large inventory to choose from. :) of all amazing prices. No pressure which is the best you can ask for when shopping for a new car. Also - large inventory to choose from. :) More
This was absolutely the most hassle free, and believe it or not, fun car buying experience we have ever experienced. We always do diligence before we buy any vehicle, and we always visit several dealers or not, fun car buying experience we have ever experienced. We always do diligence before we buy any vehicle, and we always visit several dealerships to get a feel of each dealerships sales staff, as to try and establish what kind of personality the sales staff has, and also get a feel for how aggressive they might be when it comes time to negotiate a deal. I feel that most consumers really dislike that aspect of car buying, and that is the dreaded negotiating time. Well, we somehow found this dealership while browsing for a Dodge dealership in Southern California near the Los Angeles area, and we decided to take a look at their inventory. Upon browsing their website, we noticed that they have a "price guarantee" and what you see, is the price you pay.................plus fees of course. But their listed prices have all other Dodge dealerships beat. I mean completely beat. I must also state here that we were a bit skeptical with this so called "guaranteed pricing" but thought we'd give them a shot after reading some of the reviews written about them from satisfied customers. But to our surprise, we made an appointment to meet with Fred Latasa, and to test drive a 2011 RAM, and their entire approach is very non confrontational, very casual, and very friendly. You know that feeling when you go to a dealership, and you are trying had to keep your composure, but yet at the same time you always feel the need to keep your guard up, even though you just went to introduce yourselves and only "look/browse" at their inventory? Well, you won't have that kind of feeling or thoughts at all while you are at this dealership. It's simple, you will be introduced to a "specialist" and not a salesman/person who will show you the vehicle you are interested in, ask if you would like to take it for a test drive, and then afterwards introduce you directly to a sales manager, to look at some numbers, and if they make sense for you to buy, that choice is entirely up to the customer, and if you don't like the numbers, you simply walk away. That's it. No name calling or anything, like you may get at a regular dealership when you don't buy from them. I think you all may have experienced dealerships like those I just mentioned. Right? Here there are not a million salesmen/persons jumping all over you, asking you for how much can you afford a month, how much can you put down etc etc etc. The bottom line, I got a deal that no other Dodge dealerships could give us. And believe me, my wife and I did visit quite a few dealerships in the Los Angeles area before we closed a great deal at Orange Coast Dodge of San Juan Capistrano. Fred, the sales manager also gave me "what I wanted" for my trade, and not try to low ball me at all I might add. For all of you who still might be a bit skeptical about this dealership, please do not be. Just go down there and experience this new way of buying a new car, or a used one for that matter, and I guarantee you that you will never, ever, buy from a regular operating dealership again. Get your next new vehicle from Orange Coast Chrysler Jeep Dodge of San Juan Capistrano and you will also be amazed. More
After several unsuccessful attempts to negotiate a deal on a 2011 Wrangler with a well-known San Diego Jeep dealership, we considered waiting and researched the possibility of purchasing a forthcoming 2012 on a 2011 Wrangler with a well-known San Diego Jeep dealership, we considered waiting and researched the possibility of purchasing a forthcoming 2012 model. A quick internet search took us directly to the Orange Coast Chrysler/Jeep dealership's site, and we located no less than five vehicles listed that met our specific requirements. A brief phone call to the Costa Mesa location proved successful - not only did they have the 2012 models on the lot ready to sell, but they had two identical vehicles at the San Juan Capistrano location. Within 10 minutes, we were contacted by Fleet Sales Manager, John Harnett, from the San Juan Cap location, and he confirmed the vehicle availability and the discounted price as listed on the dealership's website. We had already done our research and knew what we wanted, and the price was even better than the 2011 model that came with fewer options. For us, it was a no-brainer. We made an appointment to meet with John on Saturday, and in the meantime, applied for financing through the dealership's online credit link. On Saturday, we met John, and he had the car out and ready for us to test drive. After a quick test drive, and a few minutes finishing the credit app process, we signed papers and drove home in our brand new (gorgeous) Jeep Wrangler. It was, without a doubt, the most painless, stress-free, no regret, car buying process we have ever experienced. We unequivocally recommend Orange Coast Chrysler-Jeep to anyone who is interested in purchasing a great car at a great price. More
