Not illegal, however when I contacted them over 6 times to get clarification no one could or would help me. In fact in a frustrating call I made to their title transfer lady, she hung up on me when I suggested my Attorney may need to contact them. I got absolutely no where and no help with this person. She was not understanding my situation. And worse, she did not care. She became very caustic and arrogant -unprofessional. I am the customer and needed her help. I am new to the area and was hoping to establish a relationship as I am ready to purchase some dream cars- well, they lost my business. I also felt extremely rushed as the time of purchase when discussing extended warranty and costs. The initial sales person I worked with was professional and kind and seemed nice- but once I decided on the car I wanted- the entire process went downhill fast. Please avoid this dealership unless you don't care to have a positive experience. This was really terrible for me. More

Dwayne helped me trade my SUV and to purchase an Explorer. I typically hate the car purchase process but I can honestly say that Dwayne and Carlton at Cloninger Ford in Morganton made this a very pleasant purchase experience. More
I was made to believe there was 2-3000 dollars worth of work needed on my car. Therefore made the decision to trade in. Then they said they had to find a buyer bc of the condition. Now it's on their websit work needed on my car. Therefore made the decision to trade in. Then they said they had to find a buyer bc of the condition. Now it's on their website for sale. After less the 2 weeks it's for sale. Over 6,000 more then my trade value. I feel because I'm female I was targeted for an easy sale. I wish I would have asked for them to tell me specifically what was wrong with my car before I got pressured into trading. It was automatically let's run numbers. More
