I came to Suntrup Hyundai only to look and to get an idea of what I am looking for. I came with my mother who came to the dealership and had a negative experience but decided to give it another shot. In no ore than 25 minutes a young gentleman, Shawn Goebel, came to help us. He right off the bat asked what type of vehicle I am looking for to help point us in the direction. Right away he admitted he was fairly new to car sales and likes to promote new cars because it is what he knows, and as a customer you know exactly the history of the vehicle. He introduced us to the Hyuandai Elantra and encouraged us to take a test drive. At first I hesitated, due to not knowing what I want and transitioning from driving a midsized truck. Well Shawn placed absolutely no pressure at all and encouraged us to think about it. Well long story short we left the dealership and looked at other options and ended up coming back to go after the Elantra. I love my decision purchasing the car and glad I had Shawn's help. He was willing to work with us on a deal and understanding my situation of being a student. Again absolutely no pressure and was honest. Also he asked numerous times, "Are you sure you like this car? The first time I contacted anyone at he dealership was with a finance employee. He pointed out that he sales staff were in a meeting and that he meeting would be over soon. In explained that I only wanted to see a Santa Fe. He showed me one on the lot explained the features available, the cost breakdown of the features and was most helpful. I left only to return the next day and spoke with Jeff Rascher in sales, talk about low key sales pitch he's the poster boy. Very helpful non pressure, a very new and different approach. I was impressedby Suntrup only after visiting with two other Hyundai dealerships and a Buick dealer, only to be dismissed as a non buyer at one dealership, rude at another and a total uncaring at yet another. I returned to contact Jeff at Suntrup Hyundai, again greeted and talking about other things other than the purchase ( no pressure ) I told Jeff we wanted to see a vehicle that he did not have at the Wentzville location and that it was at he South County location. Jeff said he would have he vehicle transferred to Wentzville without our committment. The car came into Wentzville and we again met Jeff and drove he car, two days later we went back to talk about financing and trade, a fair price on the trade was discussed as well as the non typical discussions about family and friends. What a change. The next day I called Jeff and told him we were prepared to buy the car it was a pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new car, even if would not be a Hyundai to go to Suntrup and see how they treat people, and compare dealerships. More

The last time I bought a vehicle was 11 years ago and it was a Hyundai Santa Fe from Suntrup. I still have that car and my daughter who is 20 drove it for 4 years and it now has over 240,000 miles on it and was a Hyundai Santa Fe from Suntrup. I chose to be loyal to Suntrup because of the incredible customer service I received 11 years ago. My daughter was needing a new car so my first stop was at Suntrup Hundai in Wentzville. Although she wasn't necessarily looking to purchase a Hyundai, I thought we would look at their preowned inventory. I got nothing but courteous and professional service from Curt on the first day I stopped in. I brought my daughter in 3 days later and Curt spent a lot of time showing us different cars and had so much patience, what a great guy! We had fun test driving different cars. What a pleasant experience for a young girl buying her first car. Thank you Curt for treating us with such care. Craig Suntrup happen to be there that Saturday and they brought him over and introduced us and thanked me for being a loyal customer. What a gentleman! He cut us a great deal on a 2011 Hyundai Elantra! CERTIFIED and LOADED... Leather, sunroof, navigation system, heated front seats and back seats! I would say I am not an easy sell and I did haggle a bit as I was trying to get the best deal for my daughter since she will be making the payments and such. I'm telling you right now... If you want no nonsense, low pressure, professional and courteous service, Curt will get you the best deal and treat you like gold. The finance guy Justin was amazing as well. He did not sit in his office and just wait for his part of the deal. He was visiting with us, brought cars around for us to test drive, gave us advise, everything. It's teamwork all the way at Suntrup!! Thank you Craig Suntrup for treating your staff so well and for being such a great role model. It shines through and through! I just wish you had Ford Explorers. My husband wanted one so bad and so we ended up at the Dean Team Volkswagon in Kirkwood and purchased a 2013 Explorer Limited a week later and had a less than mediocre experience there. I won't go into details, but never again with the Dean Team. They have no clue how to create customer loyalty. No clue. More
