Bought a used Hyundai from a different dealership, and thought I could figure out how to connect my phone to the car's Bluetooth so I didn't bother to have them show me. After a few unsuccessful attempts thought I could figure out how to connect my phone to the car's Bluetooth so I didn't bother to have them show me. After a few unsuccessful attempts at it, finally decided to ask for help at Suntrup Hyundai. Even though I didn't buy the car from them, they were very friendly - and helpful. My phone is now connected, and I'm a little smarter. Thanks for the great customer service. It makes a difference. More
I wish to relay to all who take the time to read up on the dealers in the area, that if you want the experience that you would expect after spending your hard earned money on a vehicle, you need to consid the dealers in the area, that if you want the experience that you would expect after spending your hard earned money on a vehicle, you need to consider this dealership specifically. This is my first Hyundai purchase, and I can tell you that the Service Manager at Suntrup West has truly set the bar for exceptional customer service, and has presented the Hyundai commitment to taking care of their customers in the most memorable way! Due to the sheer convieniance of the dealership being nearby, I did shop them prior to making my purchase, but was not able to find the specific Sonata I wanted and price, but regardless really liked the interaction with the staff. I did find my car and deal at another dealer, but wanted to have the benefit of using SHW, but I was hesitant, as I thought they might frown on my buying elsewhere. Pressed for time due to taking a holiday road trip, I needed to get my first major service interval done, so I bucked up and called them to make an appointment. From the moment I showed up, I was greeted by Don Loness, who I must say is one of the finest servicemen I have ever come to meet. He not only took my car in before the place opened, but when he asked where I bought and I told him, he shared "doesn't matter, I service vehicles and take care of you". I was floored!! He proceeded to take care of me and my service needs as if I had bought my car there! In thinking back to the extent of his great service, I honestly dont think I would have even been treated that well where I bought the car from. In this day and age, good service is in the tank generally speaking, but I will tell you that there are are a few places still around to do it RIGHT, and Don Loness and his team at Suntrup in Wentzville know how to give the old school style of care that makes you feel good about every penny paid for the Hyundai Experience. I love my car, and have seen with my own eyes the difference, having owned both American and foreign vehicles. GO SEE Don and his team if you ever need service, they are totally top shelf!! More
I stopped in to look at one vehicle and It wasn't quite what I wanted. Curt Maier, the salesman, asked what I was looking for and I told him. He lead me to a Hyundai Sante Fe and it fit my needs perfect what I wanted. Curt Maier, the salesman, asked what I was looking for and I told him. Curt and Jason, the finance manager, made the whole experience painless and carefree. I would highly recommend Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville, Mo. and their polite and courteous personnel if you're looking for a new or used vehicle. More
Suntrup met the price I wanted when my local dealer would not. The car was ready in every way when I came to pick it up. We drove 3 and 1/2 hours to buy from Suntrup and I would do it again. not. Don has time and time again proven to be an asset to the staff. He is always friendly (even for an early morning oil change), makes sure things are done in a timely manner, and always explains the breakdown staff. I live an hour away from the dealership, but Don's service and attitude makes the commute for something as mundae as an oil change completely worth it. I can't sing his praises enough! More

My husband and I were looking to trade in our Hyundai Tiberon for a Hyundai Tucson. We had already scouted the lot on a Sunday (no one around), did research with Consumer Reports's awesome "Best Car Dea Tiberon for a Hyundai Tucson. We had already scouted the lot on a Sunday (no one around), did research with Consumer Reports's awesome "Best Car Deal" reports, and showed up Monday with paperwork and budget numbers and prices in mind to talk. Curt Maier was our salesman, and to our relief, he was the most laid-back and friendly car salesman we've dealt with. He asked probing questions to better determine why we were looking to trade a sports car for a small SUV, and let us talk to both give him a better idea what we were looking for, and to make a personal connection (we found something to talk about with music when we weren't talking cars). He was trying to find us the best fit, not push us in a direction we didn't want to go. Curt worked with us to consider our initial offer and to make a counter-offer that seemed fair for both sides both for our trade-in and our new car. He helped us feel at ease, introduced us to the financier, Jason, who was both very friendly and upfront with practical information about the car loan. We were assisted throughout the entire process, offered an excellent warranty (offered and accepted) and gap insurance policy (requested), they detailed our new car, filled it with a full tank of gas, thanked us for our business, shook our hands, and we left feeling very good about the change in vehicle we'd made with manufacturer we find affordable and reliable (this is out 5th Hyundai), as well as with a dealer who treated us with respect and answered all our questions and found us what we were looking for, *without* applying the dreaded "sales-pitch" pressure no one likes in a car salesman. Other employees--a receptionist, a mechanic, and a few other salesmen--acknowledged us while we were there, and chatted with us during the usual "down time" one spends waiting around the dealership as paperwork is put in order, and they all seemed to have quite a sense of humor, like they were having fun with their jobs. The feeling of the dealership as a whole was positive and upbeat without being rushed. This is the first time I have ever seriously considered returning to the dealership for the servicing of the vehicle: doing so offers a warranty beyond the manufacturer's already fair warranty, it's close enough in distance, it's competitively priced, and if the maintenance service is as good as the sales service, it'll make us feel good supporting this young dealership. Their closest competitor is Saint Charles Automotive, who--even though we bought our last 4 cars from them--is higher-pressure and while not a terrible experience, somehow doesn't instill confidence in their after-sale service, so we've never gone back with our car after buying. Word-of-mouth is that they are less upfront about prices (I always felt I paid too much for a car) but their service in particular was unpleasant to deal with. I know my own mother was promised paint from the service department to cover a scratch on the bumper, and though she visited three times, they never came through on the paint before she had to leave town. Warranty-shmarranty, you wanted to go to JiffyLube or Dobbs istead... Having Suntrup Hyundai as an alternative is a God-send. More
I was treated as a friend instead of someone trying to make a business transaction. Salesman did not nover, but let me discover the car I wanted myself. Everyone was super friendly from the receptionist make a business transaction. Salesman did not nover, but let me discover the car I wanted myself.
