I had a check engine light on, so I went to my dealer. “Assuming” it would be under warranty, I wasn’t worried about cost. Wouldn’t you know, mine was one of the comparatively few not-in-warranty repairs! “Assuming” it would be under warranty, I wasn’t worried about cost. But, Marc was very courteous, got the repair done as quickly as possible (I had to wait for the diagnosis/repair) and had me on my way! I’m not there often, but when I am, Don Davis is great! Thanks! Would have given 5 stars but I'm still very upset from my first visit. First visit I went in for my 10k miles service check up and a tire that kept losing pressure. On that visit they kept me waiting 3 hours, I didn't complain, I was under the impression that the 10K mile check up probably took awhile because they wanted to make sure everything was great and wanted to have a happy customer. In that 3 hours of wait, they only changed my tire. THAT WAS IT, ONLY THE TIRE, NO 10K MILE CHECK UP. This second time I went was for the 10k mile check up. In less then 2 hours I was out and only took that long because there was like 5 cars ahead of me and also there was some issues with my ford points. I had like 3 staff members trying to help me out with that issue but I seriously think they went above and beyond for me that day because of my first feedback. But this second visit would have been 5 stars but I'm still holding a little grudge. More
First service center I've been to that makes you feel as if they don't want your business. I have been completely turned away because they don't have a Transmission tech. When they do service your vehicle t if they don't want your business. I have been completely turned away because they don't have a Transmission tech. When they do service your vehicle the work is half done. And you have to call many times to get help with a problem that should have been fixed the first time. I regret buying an 80k truck from Ford. WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. THIS USED TO BE THE PLACE TO GO TO BUY A NEW FORD OR TO GET SERVICE. WELL THAT HAS CHANGED. I BOUGHT NUMEROUS F350 DUALLY TRUCKS FROM DON DAVIS FORD OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS OR SO. I TO BUY A NEW FORD OR TO GET SERVICE. WELL THAT HAS CHANGED. I BOUGHT NUMEROUS F350 DUALLY TRUCKS FROM DON DAVIS FORD OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS OR SO. I HAD GOOD SERVICE ON ALL OF THESE TRUCKS. IN 2019 I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW F450. SUPER NICE TRUCK. THIS IS WHEN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS EXPOSED FOR COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE! OIL CHANGES THEY CAN HANDLE. BUT BALANCING TIRES THAT ARE ON 19.5 WHEELS. THEY CANT DO THIS TASK....THEY DON'T HAVE THE EQUIPMENT......THEY FOUND THAT OUT TRYING TO BALANCE MY TIRES. WHAT A MESS THIS WAS.....THEY HAD TO SEND MY TRUCK OUT TO A TIRE SHOP TO GET RIGHT. OUT OF MY TRUCK FOR 2 DAYS. BEFORE THEY SENT IT OVER TO TIRE SHOP.......TECHNICIANS AT DON DAVIS FORD HAD BEEN IN AND OUT OF MY TRUCK. MY GOODNESS YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE INSIDE OF MY TRUCK......GREASE ALL OVER SEATS , HEADLINER, DOORS, IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE! SERVICE MANAGER AT THE TIME( THIS GUY GAVE A xxxx) PAID FOR A COMPLETE DETAIL OF THE INSIDE OF MY TRUCK AT A CAR DETAILER. SO, NOW DON DAVIS WANTS TO CHARGE ME $250 TO SEND OUT MY TRUCK TO TIRE SHOP EACH TIME I WANT TIRES BALANCED. WHAT FOOLS! I CAN GET THIS DONE FOR $100 AT THE SAME PLACE IF I TAKE IT. SO, HERE IS MY LAST EXPERIENCE AT THIS DEALERSHIP. I NEEDED AN OIL CHANGE AND A FRONT END ALIGNMENT. 1. HAD APPOINTMENT AT 7:30AM. WAS TOLD NO LONGER THAN 2-2.5 HOUR WAIT 2. GOT TRUCK BACK 4.5 HOURS LATER........WAS TOLD TECHNICIAN WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH ALIGNMENT MACHINE.......SERVICE MANAGER HELPING HIM. 3. GET INSIDE MY TRUCK.........FILTHY AGAIN..........SERVICE MANAGER HAS TO CLEAN INSIDE OF MY TRUCK. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THESE GUYS GET GREASE ALL OVER MY HEADLINER, SEATS, AND DOORS! THEY DON'T GIVE A xxxx!! THIS IS NOT THE SAME SERVICE MANAGER. HE DOESN'T GIVE A xxxx- CHUCK P. IS HIS NAME. CLEANS THE INSIDE OF MY TRUCK WITH SPRAY CLEANER THAT IS NOT THE BEST.......I WILL GET CLEANED PROPERLY MYSELF. 4. DRIVE OFF AND THE STEERING WHEEL IS OFFSET FROM CENTER FROM THE ALIGNMENT. HAD TO BRING BACK AND ANOTHER SERVICE MANAGER WORKED WITH ME........CHUCK P. CAN'T HANDLE IT. 1.5 HOURS LATER I FINALLY LEAVE. 6 HOUR VISIT FROM xxxx! STEERING WHEEL STILL NOT CENTER. I WILL TAKE TO ANOTHER PLACE TO GET RIGHT. THIS DEALERSHIP NEEDS LEADERSHIP. I HAVE REACHED OUT TO GM- LEDOUX IS HIS NAME........WORTHLESS. ALL SERVICE MANAGERS........WORTHLESS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO VENTURES HERE! ONE THING I WILL SAY ABOUT DON DAVIS DEALERSHIPS IN DFW METROPLEX. THEY ARE ALL VERY GOOD DEALERSHIPS EXCEPT FOR FORD. THE SERVICE MANAGERS KNOW THEIR STUFF. I HAVE A 2020 JEEP RUBICON THAT I BOUGHT FROM DON DAVIS JEEP- EXCELLENT SERVICE! SO, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY JUST NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE AND START OVER AT THE FORD DEALERSHIP! More
