I went in for an oil change and was told that a lot of parts in my car needed immediate service (transmission especially, even though the service advisor said that the transmission guy that worked there w parts in my car needed immediate service (transmission especially, even though the service advisor said that the transmission guy that worked there was retired), so I went to get a second opinion and everything that was stated that needed repairs were incorrect and in perfect condition, my car is fairly new. If I went through with the repairs at Don Davis Ford I would have spent almost 2 grand for repairs that didn't need repairing. More

Where I think they need to improve is: 1.- Before they recommend any extra work on a vehicle, would be nice for them if they could check the historical work performed on it, on this particular appointment they were recommending to replace ALL the fluids when they were done on the previous visit, also they were recommending to replace sparkplugs on the engine based on the whole mileage, when 30K miles ago they replaced the whole engine and the existing sparkplugs should be good for another 70K more miles. 2.- Shuttle services, in the past (before COVID) they offered a shuttle which it was very convenient, but now they stopped doing it and I'm thinking about changing to another service provider whom offers this. 3.- Car wash and cleaning, this I think is a great value add it, it would be nice to receive your vehicle clean and without fingerprints after is being serviced, on this particular occasion I had fingerprints on my wheels and doors, I know the vehicle wasn't totally clean when it was turned it but overall for customer satisfaction you should always return a customer's vehicle in better conditions than how you received it, the extra mile you know, those little details go longways. I scheduled my appointment on the app, when I got there they had no record even thought I had a confirmation from DD. I had requested 3 things to be done, oil change & tire rotation, windshield recall & f they had no record even thought I had a confirmation from DD. I had requested 3 things to be done, oil change & tire rotation, windshield recall & fixing a plastic clip. They were only able to accommodate my oil change & tire rotation. The wrong amount of oil was put into my car (1 quart light) and I had to argue with the service advisor and evenutally get someone else to help me get the problem resolved. Additionally the SA was not aware of the suggested tire rotation for my vehicle. I had to show them specifically what I wanted done as well. Both of these things were clarified by the Auto Manual. You would think that a Ford Dealer would at the very least be aware of the suggested care from the manual. Instead I was forced to educate them on their own product. This is very disappointing and I do not think that I will be back. More

Service staff were professional, personable, and helpful. When I arrived - at my appointment time, with no other customers or vehicles in the service bay, at least three of the service staff noticed me, but When I arrived - at my appointment time, with no other customers or vehicles in the service bay, at least three of the service staff noticed me, but none of them acknowledged that I was there or indicated that someone would be out soon to see what I needed. That was a bit frustrating. After a few minutes, a woman (who did not introduce herself) came out and asked if I was there for an appointment. She then asked someone else (who also did not introduce herself) to take care of me. She did, and was very helpful. A different staff member came to the waiting area to let me know my car was ready and promptly took to check-out. More
