My truck is in near perfect condition, a 2008 F-150 with only 72,000 miles, largely because it has been serviced exclusively by Don Davis Ford. My biggest "problem" is when not scheduling a basic oil change and tire rotation, it has most times taken 2 hours (I always arrive prior to 7:00 a.m.) I like that a comprehensive evaluation of vehicle's health is provided with future needs addressed, like a tune-up. Had to wait too long for the work to begin I told the service rep that I wanted to wait at the shop for the work to be done. Recall and oil change I was greated promptly and check my car in at 8:45 am. Was told it would take half a day. I called at 5 pm to check on my car. Saved by the millennial! I brought my car in for a confirmed service appointment. After waiting for 4 hours that day I went to check on the status of the car only to find th I brought my car in for a confirmed service appointment. After waiting for 4 hours that day I went to check on the status of the car only to find that the diagnostics had been completed and no one had informed the tech what to do. Had it not been for Steven who showed up on his day off and discovered that nothing was happening with fixing my car. In any event, after another 2 hours my car was ready. Another service person, not the person who originally wrote up the service order, stayed with me until the entire process was completed. Again, another person who actually seems to care about Don Davis service clients. One final note, the person who initiated the transaction on Saturday never acknowledged his responsibility for the screw-up, nor did I ever see him again. So, in future training sessions, I suggest Don Davis group reinforce the fact that everybody screws up; however, failure to accept or acknowledge such, does more harm for Don Davis' service arm of the group! In the meantime, I have not doubt that Steven will go very far in customer service industry. More
