May Take A While I've been a customer here with 2 Lincoln MKZ's over the past few years. The vehicles are impressive yet the service appears to not be able to keep up I've been a customer here with 2 Lincoln MKZ's over the past few years. The vehicles are impressive yet the service appears to not be able to keep up with the level of service that the Lincoln brand deserves. Lincoln Service includes a complimentary wash yet on a couple occassions the washes were essentially a smearing as the windshield was obviously wiped/dryed with the same cloth that was used to wipe the car. During a recent Oil Change (The Works Package), the fluid levels that should've been topped off were not. It's unfortunate that an Oil Change service would take 3-4 hours as well. When the service Mgr (Greg) was informed of the issues however, he was courteous enough to get them resolved. Service Advisor (Billy Cox) was also helpful so long as tap on his shoulder periodically. I'll go there again as long as I drive a Lincoln and live close by. I'll also continue to verify the service(s) performed as well unfortunately. More
Had an appointment for a simple oil change and waited 2.5 hr Seriously, waiting 2.5 hr for an oil change with an appointment...not right! This needs to be addressed considering many other places would have had me in and out the door in 1 hr. With the car wash I can add another 30 min but that is still 1 hr less than what I spent! More

Great customer service We took our car up to Don Davis for a recall. Dee ( the service manager) saw we actually had 2 recalls. She got us checked out for 1 of the recalls. She said she would order part and call when it came in. I received a call the next day. We were going out of town so I told her I would call back when we got back in a week The day after we got home, Dee called. She had made a not of our return dat and saved us a part. My car was fixed the next day! More

Poor customer service My appointment time was scheduled, and I was told this was just a recommended drop off time, not the actual appointment time. The first 5000 mile check was completed and it took over 2 hours from my scheduled appointment-as I waited for it. I've already prepaid my maintenance, and at this point am regretting my decision. I was informed when I scheduled it that there was no telling how long the wait times would be, and that it could be hours. With a scheduled appt, I'd hope that customer service would be able to adjust this and provide the value to customers. The waiting area was also uncomfortable, I was approached by a salesman as I was waiting to buy a new car, which seemed inappropriate. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this location for service. More

At the end of the repair, it is done well. no complaints at this time with the final results. It took 6 business days to complete the repair, which is long, but I could understand back ups. what I am not very understanding on is the follow up. I called three days in a row to get an update, just to know what was going on and did not hear from anyone. I would expect to be kept informed without being asked, but certainly expect a call when I leave a VMX within 24 hours. The diagnosis was a failure in an actuator but after replacing that and putting the dash all back together, I got a call that it still didn't work and they diagnosed a failure in an AC module. That makes me suspicious that the module was damage during the repair so Im suspicious about that charge. it should have been identified up front. Feels like scope creep. Just leaves a question in my mind about the experience. managing these things closely and communicating is critical to meeting expectations and eliminating doubts about the service. you should make it important and measure response time of service dept to customers. When the questions asks if I would recommend Don Davis Service, there is only yes or no, I would like to say yes with a warning (so that means maybe). I will try the dept. one more time, if not improved attention to detail, I'll probably find alternate service. it is not intended to give Steve A bad review, he was incredibly friendly and helpful. I think management needs to emphasize what is important for service advisors critical actions. More
