No back and for of offers and counter offers, they cut right to the chase gave me the prices I wanted for my trade in and the new car. Monday 17th Drove out after work to pick up the car and she was ready to go, It may have taken 15 min. to get me out the door, in the car driving home. I wish all dealers where like them, No haggling back and forth, just a great price right away. More

I originally chose to go to Cityside Subaru becasue of its already excellent Dealerrater rating, combined with the fact that it was relatively close to my house. Cityside Subaru by far exceeded my expectations for low-pressure--though attentive--sales, and subsequently an exceptionally easy transaction when I was ready to buy my Legacy some weeks later. Both the Honda & Toyota dealerships I visited, though they claimed to be low/no pressure, were clearly more about "selling" me on the Camry or the Accord--even providing misinformation--as opposed to just giving me the facts and letting me make up my own mind. Lucas Casella is hands down the most easygoing, straightforward and hoenst car salesman I have ever encountered. Though I tend to keep my cars a long time (I bet you can guess one of the main reasons why), I would certainly recommend Cityside, and Lucas in particular, to anyone looking for a non-stressful car buying experience, and an excellent car to boot! More

Buying a car at Cityside changed my perceptions of car dealers. I strongly believe that my salesperson helped me buy a car that was right for my needs and desires and not just to make a sale. Cityside Subaru is a great place. The customer service representatives are knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, with no high pressure sales. After 20 years of owning Volvos--and paying their very high service costs--I wanted to buy my first Subaru. We drive a lot in Maine so the AWD was essential. Our experience with him was close to ideal: he was very patient with long road tests and multiple family members coming by to drive at different times. His description of the models and options was very clear and thorough. He was friendly and accessible at all times. Only negative experience came around the contract and the back-and-forth around the numbers, which was hard to follow and seemed to shift along the way, and I did feel pressured. In three months we've already put 7500 miles on the car and are finding it perfect for our needs. More

I have been dealing with Citiside since 1996 where I bought my first new car ever, a Legacy wagon, and had it serviced regularly. I admired the skill with which lurking troubles were diagnosed and repaired. After 133800 miles and an impending $1000 repair, I decided to buy a 2003 Legacy wagon that was on the lot. I may have paid more than Edmunds might advise, but having Citiside as a dealer makes it worthwhile and I plan to continue having it serviced regularly. I recommend Subaru and Citiside to friends whenever the subject of cars comes up. My experiences with them accounts for the above ratings. More
