Mark was very helpful and patiently explained all of our options to us (new vs. used; age of pre-owned vehicle; accessory packages). We never felt pressured - unlike a previous experience at another Subaru dealership. Even when we were negotiating a price, Mark was very honest and straightforward with us. We made it very clear what we wanted to pay for a vehicle and he made it work for us. He found us a vehicle that was in our price range and had the mileage and options that we wanted. I also had pleasant experiences with all of the other employees that I encountered in my visits to the dealership. I cannot recommend them more highly. More
After owning a BMW and LandRover, I was in the market for a more fuel efficient car which was completely dependable, less expensive to maintain and, living in Boston, all wheel drive. As a physician, I am extremely busy so I did almost all of my negotiations via internet and phone with literally 7 Subaru dealerships around Boston. After multiple communications with all 7 dealers, I chose to visit Cityside in person first because Lucas came across to me as the most upfront and respectable of all the dealers. You never know what you are going to get in person and I was ready to be on the defensive as most people are walking into a car dealership but it was honestly the easiest transaction I have ever had buying a new car. This dealership was completely reasonable with negotiations involving my trade-in and they were completely true to their word with respect to the quotes given to me on-line, ie no "bate and switch" tactics. We walked in and purchased the car in less an half and hour. But the story doesn't end there.... I went to pick the new car up 2 days later. As soon as I drove it off the lot, the "AT Oil Temp" warning light went off on the dashboard. I drove right back to the dealership where Nate and Lucas took it right down to the shop. To make a long story short, without any fuss at all, they switched that car, including all the paperwork ie registration,title,etc, for a brand new car. As most people know, although this is the right and respectable thing to do, most dealerships would NOT do this without a prolonged fight. All they kept saying was "We just want you to be happy". I have already recommended this dealership to several friends. They have earned a very happy long-term customer!!!! More

From the first visit to browse the selection of Foresters to the final visit to drive away in our new car, the atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful, the usually complicated process of purchasing a new vehicle was made simple and easy to navigate and above all the new Subaru we bought, a 2009 Forester, is a great addition and we look forward to driving this car for many years to come. Our salesman, Mark Lidano, was a pleasure to work with. He never pressured us into any agreement but rather walked us through the process and explained every step as we bought the car. After the purchase was complete and we were about to drive our new Forester home, Mark explained all the components of the vehicle and made sure we were comfortable with it. He assured us the entire Cityside staff would be available should we have any questions or concerns once we brought the Forester home. We even received a follow-up phone the next day from Mark because he wanted to check in on how the car was running. Mark at Cityside was straight forward, professional and gave us his best price first time with no head games. Wow, what a nice change from the other 20 dealerships I have dealt with over the past months. Obviously we made a purchase and are still very pleased with the price and experience. Cheers! After some homework on the Internet and visiting other dealerships, my son and I went to Cityside in response to our email. Lucas was professional, efficient and willing to seal a deal without the pressur dealerships, my son and I went to Cityside in response to our email. I drove away in my new Impreza the next day ready for the next snow storm to hit the New England area. I was part of the Subaru family and did not need to fear the impact of the weather on driving conditions. What a new perspective! WOW!!! More
