Mark Lidano was suggest by a next door neighbor after a conversation at our block party. I contacted Mark right away and he was on the lookout for us for a 2010 black impreza sport automatic and the momen conversation at our block party. I contacted Mark right away and he was on the lookout for us for a 2010 black impreza sport automatic and the moment it come in he called my mobile. My wife and I took the car for a test ride that evening and made the deal (with a trade in). Mark took us on a well planned test drive, highway, hills, parking lot(turn ratio test),places to switch drivers, etc. Mark style is no sales xx or undue pressure. We were satisfied with the trade in process we negotiated and the delivery (that Monday) was smooth. The reason I rated the the customer service and overall experience good and not great is that CitySide's promoted interest rate for auto loan is 3.9% and my wife's credit is excellent and mine is very very good. Alan their business manager ran the application late, not on Friday but Monday mid-day and it came in at 4.9% and we were notified of this last minute, with no time to get other options. We were disappointed. We needed the car and I am aware part is of the credit score out of their hands but the delay in running the application did not work in our favor. CitySide should not get people's hopes up, then delay running the application until last minute, could be perceived as a sales move, next time they should not wait 48-72 hours to run the credit app so we all know the reality. We chose to not delay the process regardless. This loan process is not a reflection on Mark's sales skills but more on the credit/business process at the dealership. Mark followed up with a hand written note and a friendly call. Also sent a $50 check out to the neighbor who referred us. I highly recommend Mark at CitySide Subaru in Belmont, MA More
Very friendly, very thorough. They answered all my questions, went over all the details with me and made sure everything was just like I wanted it. I had a stressless time with Mark at Cityside Subaru. I was able to take my time and be sure I made the correct decision for me...buying a car is no small allocation of resources and I needed to be able to was able to take my time and be sure I made the correct decision for me...buying a car is no small allocation of resources and I needed to be able to compare the Forrester with my one other choice. In the end, I chose Subaru because Mark did not pressure me like the other car salesperson did and there were features I preferred on the Forrester. I will recommend Mark and Cityside to my friends. While I haven't bought a car yet from this dealership, I've been taking my car for service ever since I've owned it, as did the previous owner. I've never had trouble getting an appointment, service has always been timely, and if it takes a few days they offer a loaner. I always get a call from someone in the dept. to explain exactly what they did (I'm not a car person, and they really help me understand everything!) and they never automatically fix something without notifying me, and weighing the pros and cons. I've had mechanics in the past tell me something was absolutely necessary to fix, charge me a ton for it, and then I find out later that I didn't have to fix it, or it could have been done in a different way to save me money. These guys NEVER do that. They don't try and tell you to fix something that's not really broken, and they always discuss all of my options with me. I completely trust them to keep my car safe and functional, and to give me a fair price for it. I don't go anywhere else, not even for oil changes! When I decide to purchase another car, this is the dealership that I will go to. More

The salesperson was very unprofessional. His appearance was sloppy. He didn't seem to know the product at all and the manager did not offer any assistance. I never thought I would find myself writing a recommendation for a car dealer, but Dwight and CitySide Subaru have been wonderful to do business with and deserve it! I bought a pre-owned Forester recommendation for a car dealer, but Dwight and CitySide Subaru have been wonderful to do business with and deserve it! I bought a pre-owned Forester from them last week. I had a very strict budget and they got me into the car I wanted at the price I wanted to spend. Other car dealerships hassled me and tried to sell me an older car with more miles for the price, but Dwight and the manager respected what I wanted and made it happen. More

We drove from Ohio to Massachusetts to buy a 2009 Subaru Outback from this dealer. They made it worth our while with the price and speed of service. We were only in town for a few days and wanted to make Outback from this dealer. They made it worth our while with the price and speed of service.
