Was told that they would be able to take my lease in on trade and get me where I wanted to be financially. I was concerned they wouldn’t and confronted that concern to the salesman. He reassured me it would be no problem. Submitted a finance application. Sure enough came back and was 2-300 over where I wanted to be payment wise and told me exactly what I expressed to the salesman. These people are shady and will do whatever it takes to try and get you into something out of your budget. I did not buy a vehicle and would not recommend anyone going here. More

Never Bought my vehicle from them used.....happy with everything. The truck is fine its a BMW not some flopped together pile of GM junk. The buying process Bought my vehicle from them used.....happy with everything. The truck is fine its a BMW not some flopped together pile of GM junk. The buying process was fine. I'm "upset" (Substituted word for the over sensitive) about a $3000 "power train" warranty that I paid for that was good for a useless 20k miles that I never asked for and was never told about. My last X5 was totaled and I needed a new one in a pinch.....I rushed into the purchase and have gotten xxxx as far as feedback from the sales manager for the "warranty". I even went the extra mile and harvested a bunch of parts off of my previous X5 in an effort to help save them money on the deal and did all the work myself. Battery $300, Tires/Wheels $1200, driver headlamp ballast and control $700, Blower motor $300, all front aur vents as they were all broken and Sunroof motor assembly $900. They were "Kind" enough to pay me $800 for the other parts that I requested to be fixed and I even did the work myself. I then proceeded to replace the rear suspension airbags, compressor and distribution block. I didn't have the opportunity to walk out to the vehicle and see it started from cold because I would have noticed that these needed replacement prior to purchase but they let the truck warm up and the suspension had inflated and I had no idea until it was too late. I also would have noticed that the belt tensioner was shot and needed replacement. Understand this. I know, its a used car....it will have some problems and I was prepared for that. It's a BMW, they're fickle at best but the best vehicles to own hands down. I am not mad about that or the issues that commonly come up with these vehicles. What upsets me is that I tried to be the most agreeable customer on the face of the planet and really went the extra mile to help them salvage some money on their end and got screwed in the process. I know it took me a while to write this but I got an email from them offering to refinance my truck at a lower rate and blah blah blah. I emailed the gentleman back and have not gotten any response from him addressing what I wrote above, so here is my updated yelp review. Needless to say, won't be back. Don't want deal with another used car purchase again. The truck is almost paid off and when it comes time, I'll just go to my BMW dealership and purchase one new. More

Salesman Denny was pleas After 3 different contracts, catching 2 added service contract and aftermarket charges they fixed the lease. Not trustworthy. Salesman Denny was pleasant, finance department, Mike and Matt, were nothing but rude and dishonest. I will be reporting to secretary of state Jesse White of my experience at Rock Chevy. If you buy from them, please check your paperwork thoroughly. More
Horrible experience at Rock My 2012 Traverse that was bought new in 2011 at Rockenbach and has been serviced by Rockenbach/Rock ever since exoerience sudden mechanical breakdown My 2012 Traverse that was bought new in 2011 at Rockenbach and has been serviced by Rockenbach/Rock ever since exoerience sudden mechanical breakdown on Tuesday (suspected transmission failure as well as sensor issues). I took to Rock as it happened a few blocks from there. I know there is a strike (which I hated going past picket but this was an emergency) so I asked if they were doing work as I have an emergency. Man at service desk says it depends. So I get out of vehicle and explain situation. He says after I tell all that they are only doing oil changes. Why didn't he tell me that inmediately? Then he says no loaners, no vehicle etc as all out so I can't help you. The trans was slipping and engine light on, I bought it there and this guy didn't even act like he cared (his speech felt rehearsed). We went to Anthony Buick which had service open and it was minimallu the entire transmission. I bought a new vehicle from them and will not go back to Rock. I had broight my Traverse in periodically cor the sensor and transmission concerns. Just a few weeks ago I had everything looked at before we drove to NJ. Also had trans checked as I felt slippage several times in past year (last time before warranty ran out) and was told everything okay. I am probably only put on a 100 mikes or so since our big trip and the trans went. It could have easily have been during my trip. More

The car has been making some weird noises, took it back to them , they were like yes we heard the noises , we will make it right. I get the car after a week. Exact same crancky noises which have got even worse now. The buying experience was a mess and now the service experience is pathetic. A NEW Camaro and I am already regretting choosing rock chevy. WHos going to compensate for the troubles and wastage of time and mental torture i am going through for putting all my money in a car that they themselves cannot repair. I will mostly complain with the state attorney general and Chevrolet. More
Best car buying experience I've had. Rock Chevrolet was by far the best car buying experience I've had. I bought a new 2016 Chevy Sonic LS with a manual transmission. This was a difficult Rock Chevrolet was by far the best car buying experience I've had. I bought a new 2016 Chevy Sonic LS with a manual transmission. This was a difficult model to locate but the salesman I worked with, John Pondell, worked overtime to find the car for me. The sales manager, Edward, worked with me to find a price that was EXTREMELY affordable for my budget. They did not try to put me into something more expensive, they did not offer extra options more than once, and at no point was I being swindled. The employees at Rock Chevrolet treated me with respect. The paperwork was completed efficiently. The experience was completely positive. When the car was located, John did everything in his power to keep the miles on my new vehicle as low as possible. He kept me informed about where the car came from, how many miles it started with, and how many it would have when I got there. He always got back to me the same day I called. After the transaction had been completed, he stayed after he was supposed to go home to take me through all the technical info for the new car. He helped me set up OnStar and the Bluetooth features. I never felt pressured. The staff was always transparent about their offers. They gave me more than Raymond Chevrolet or Libertyville Chevrolet on my trade-in. While Rock Chevrolet is still a business, they put me before their bottom lines and personal comfort. I couldn't ask for more. More
