I negotiated with Greg on the phone on Wednesday, and picked up my new car on Saturday (only because Thurs & Fri were out for me). Smooth process, completely thorough - they were the best!! The service received at Apple Acura is the biggest reason I purchase my cars at this dealership. Everyone is courteous and everything is explained to me. Often I thought I needed a service but they assured me I didn't -- I trust the service manager and my mechanic named above. Recently and on other past occassions I have needed prompt service and I received it. Last week I got same day service to completion on a Saturday and the following Thursday. A AAA battery service call resulted in the installation of the wrong battery (a battery I did not need) and damage to the positive cable harness. Apple Acura not only fixed the mess the same day, they also were instrumental it getting me reimbursed for the AAA service blunder (Note: AAA handled the situation perfectly -- the poor service was done by the vendor sent by AAA). I was offered rides to and from my home while they serviced my car. More
The quality of work is good but customer services needs some improvement... I took my car to the dealer for some services, I paid more than $300. Two months later, I realized they did not provide me the some improvement... I took my car to the dealer for some services, I paid more than $300. Two months later, I realized they did not provide me the documentaion for one of the service they performed, which is Vehicle Emisions Inspection Report. Because I need the documentaion for registering my vehicle in a different state and without it, I need to get it inspection again. So I call the Service Consultant and try to see if they could send me a copy of the documentation. The Service Consultant Bruce Keith shows no friendliness, provide very poor customer service. At first, he insist there is no need to provide the documentation and I should go with what I have got. After explaining to him what I am using the documentation for, in a persisting unfriendly voice, he said I can come to the shop and pick it up. Because I live in a different state, it will take me 2 hours to get there, I ask him if he could mail it to me. He refuse to do so, said they don't provide this kind of service. I try to call the Customer Relations Manager Trudy Gladfelter and explain to her my situation, she told me to hold, a minute later, she hand up the phone without saying anything. I made a couple intend to calling her back, each time I called, she pick up the phone and hand it up immediately. I'm not sure what to say at this point...other than being frustrated that I paid $XX for the services but I can't even request to get a copy of the documentation that should of be given to me at the first place. After posting my comment to dealerrater.com, the Service Manager contact me immediately. He agreed to mail the documentation to me. Although I did not receive any apology at the end with all these unwelcome attitudes that I experienced, overall, I'm giving it an 'ok' rating since the Manager did promptly fixed my problem. It definitely was a great lesson for me, and I hope it's for them as well. Hope the 'Values' that were posted on their website are not just a camouflage 'image'. More
