Best Customer Service EVER!!! Jose Rivera(Service Manager) & Marcos....are simply AWESOME! (cant think of a better word to describe my experience with the two of them.) I've been coming to get my vehicle serviced here for almost 4 years (I Live closer to Grossinger Toyota on Touhy) But I make the drive every time because I know I'm getting Quality everything...from coffee to sparks plugs lol :) ! What keeps me coming Back???...Obviously the VIP treatment..... Starbucks...Plasma TV...Leather comfy chairs....and the Staff of course! The service area has recently been renovated they now have super comfy leather chairs (which I plan on buying soon) lol:) yummy Starbucks coffee for their customers (as always) and Just GREAT people to serve you...AND your vehicle! I've been a loyal customer for 4 years....and plan on purchasing again soon from Toyota! Thank you, Jose, Marcos, Toyota! More
First, let me start by saying my experience at Toyota Scion was AWEFUL! I called 3 times to ensure the vehicles (2010 and 2008 Ford Escape) were available and I specifically asked Josh and Sam if the 201 Scion was AWEFUL! I called 3 times to ensure the vehicles (2010 and 2008 Ford Escape) were available and I specifically asked Josh and Sam if the 2010 had a sunroof. Upon arrival the Ford 2010 did NOT have a sun roof. After looking at the vehicles Josh then informed me that the Ford 2008 was actually NOT available anymore and it was another 2010 limited edition. By the way, the 2010 limited edition smelt like AWEFUL smoke-if you want to sell it air it out!!! Second complaint, After asking about discounts I was told by Sam that they would take care of me and give me a good deal. Upon arrival and after asking Josh about what deal they could come up with the ford 2010 (even after it NOT having a sunroof and being the most BASIC on the market) he said nothing. They could do no deals. I told Josh that Sam had just told me they could. Josh went over to Sam, came back and said they could give me 250.00 off the price. When I asked why Sam would say that they could give me a deal Josh exclaimed that it was a great deal! What a bunch of sexist jerks. I will NEVER come here again and I will let my friends in chicago and wisconsin know how crappy this place is. Not only did I drive 1 1/2 hours to see 2 cars that were not what I told they were, but I was lied to about a working price. NEVER AGAIN!!! I went back to wisconsin with my uncle and got a great deal. Thank you Sam and Josh for NOT selling me a car because I found one for A MUCH better price that did NOT reek of smoke. More
On Friday 4/8/11 I was traveling home for the day, while on the highway I started smelling antifreeze and notice the tempture gage moving towards HOT! I pulled to the side of the road and call Toyota and spoke to Juan, I expain what I had notice and asked him what I should do. He suggested that I bring the car into the shop so that they could check it out. He asked if I needed a tow truck to come and get me, I informed him that I did not think so, told me to be very careful and take it easy as I made my way to the shop, he did not want to see me get hurt or damage my car futher. Once I got to the shop Juan was waiting for me, told me to have a seat and they would check to see what the problem was. After a short time he came over to me and explain that appeared to have happen, provide me with a cost effective solution to fix the matter and asked for my authorizaiton to proceed which I gave. About an hour after that the repairs where completed and I was on my way home. I was so happy that I call Juan and followed his instructions, before I left the shop Juan explained to me that I was lucky because a part (thermostat I belive) had gotten damanged and broken out of it's housing, by following his instructions I prevented the part from going into the engine and causing more extensive damage. I am real greatful to Juan and Toyota for addressing and resolving this matter. More

I should start by saying that my first car buying experience this year was HORRRRRIBLE. I also have to mention that I normally don't write reviews unless I feel strongly about 1. a bad service or 2. an extremely good service; may I point out two words BAD and EXTREMELY to emphasize that I have to feel strongly about these two things in order for me write a review. Writing a review takes time, feeling and honesty. So in writing this, I hope you can read that I mean every word in this review. Although from the outside, the dealership looks small, however, their service is by far grandiose. Let me start by mentioning Carl, the Finance Manager, he has a way of making you feel like the purchase you are about to make its the best purchased based on numbers. In reviewing my paperwork at home he was right, the best purchased for my brand new Prius Car based on pure research. Carl is by far the best person to work with because he is good at balancing and explaining things to the consumer. Paul, Carl, Cordero and David are professional, good hearted sales people. Mostly when you step into any car dealer, most sales staff have one thing in mind and that is to make the sale no matter if they have to prevaricate or perhaps fabricate false facts in order to persuade the customer to buy from them. The people from Chicago Northside Toyota Scion are the total opposite. Honest people, no fib to convince you to buy. So if you are looking into purchasing a new/used car, I honestly hope you consider going to Chicago Northside toyota and receive the best service, best prices and meet the best sales people. I've been to Chicago Northside Toyota Scion twice now for service. I've had my oil changed twice, my brake fluid replaced, my oxygen intake valve replaced, and new windshield wipers installed after one flew service. I've had my oil changed twice, my brake fluid replaced, my oxygen intake valve replaced, and new windshield wipers installed after one flew off during the Snowpocalypse. They also washed and cleaned my car both times for free! The employees were extremely friendly both times and very helpful. They are always careful to alert me to any issues that may arise in the future without pressuring me to have any work done immediately. The service is always very quick and the waiting area is clean and pleasant. Finally, all repairs and labor were very affordable. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone with a Toyota. More
I BROUGHT MY CAR IN FOR THE 5000 MILE MAINTAINCE AND WAS GREETED WELL ASKED IF THEIR WERE ANY PROBLEMS AND TOLD IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT ONE HOUR. IT DID TAKE ABOUT AN HOUR THEY SERVICED THE CAR AND WASHED IT FO GREETED WELL ASKED IF THEIR WERE ANY PROBLEMS AND TOLD IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT ONE HOUR. IT DID TAKE ABOUT AN HOUR THEY SERVICED THE CAR AND WASHED IT FOR ME.THE OIL WAS CHANGED AND TIRES ROTATED. OH , I FORGOT THEY ALSO CHECKED THE RADIO AND TURNED OFF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.MY SERVICE PROVIDER [MIKE] WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KEPT ME UP TO DATE SA TO HOW MUCH LONGER I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT. I MIGHT ADD THE FREE COFFEE IN THE WAITING ROOM WAS ABONUS. More

THE LONG STORY, PART ONE: About a week before relocating from Chicago to Kansas City, I stopped by the dealership. After glancing at a couple of cars I met Kenny. A few hours later, we were negotiating a fair price on a 2010 RAV-4. Kenny made me a surprisingly good deal on the car I wanted. I drove home that day around 5PM. All was well--until I noticed a fairly large ding and scratches on the driver's side door. It was too late to go back to the dealership that day, so I decided I'd call back first thing Monday morning. I didn't get around to calling Kenny until the middle of October--almost three weeks AFTER we'd already moved. His response was simple, "Fix it and we'll cover the cost." I was astounded. A few days later, the car was repaired and a check from Chicago Northside Toyota showed up in the mail. They covered the entire amount--no questions asked. THE LONG STORY, PART TWO: In December, three months after purchasing the vehicle, we discovered that the title had been processed with "Toyota" misspelled "Toytota." Once again, Kenny came through, quickly handing the situation is matter of days. Obviously, I'd highly recommend a visit to the dealership. I've already decided that the next car I buy is coming from Chicago Northside Toyota. After all, it's worth the price of plane ticket from Kansas City to Chicago for this kind of service. More
