When the service department tells you it will be 20 minutes to button things up. Be prepared to wait an additional 2 hours to then be told they are finishing up the oil change. As a visitor to the minutes to button things up. Be prepared to wait an additional 2 hours to then be told they are finishing up the oil change. As a visitor to the area. I would not recommend this dealership. If they can not or just won't be honest on something so simple, how can you trust them for anything more? More

Scam!!! I purchased my vehicle here and thought the best place to bring my Chevy for repairs would be the Chevy dealer I purchased it from right? WRONG!!! I b I purchased my vehicle here and thought the best place to bring my Chevy for repairs would be the Chevy dealer I purchased it from right? WRONG!!! I brought my vehicle in for some over heating issues. They said my head gasket blew and it would cost $3000 for repairs!!! And said that he would have to send my block out for testing and it might cost more!!! I went to pick my vehicle up to get a second opinion and was told I had to pay $110 for the diagnostics. I took my vehicle to JD auto repair in Staunton. The gentleman there tested my block and tried hard to find an issue with the head gasket and was unable to! Charged me $90 for a couple of hoses that had pin holes in them. This place is a scam!! I will never take my car there nor will I purchase another vehicle from them again!! More

Absolute scam I brought my truck in for a cv boot replacement and they called mid day to say my inspection was almost up so I said do it. When I got there at the en I brought my truck in for a cv boot replacement and they called mid day to say my inspection was almost up so I said do it. When I got there at the end of the day I found they didn't change the boot and they failed my truck and removed my sticker. They said my lower ball joints were bad and rear brakes. My brakes were a year old so I questioned that but the said the brake pads were $275 each side and the ball joints were $100 each. They said it takes 4.7 hours to do the ball joints that the labor alone would be $460 just for the joints alone so I took my truck and left. I bought everything for $210 and did the work myself. My ball joints were a tally fine but being I had 160k I did them anyways. It took my 20 min to do the driver side and 45 on the passenger because I changed the cv boot. My rear brakes were fine still had half life on them so I brought it somewhere else and it passed inspection with flying colors. They are a scam and I will never go back there again. More

Leave as soon as it doesn't feel right I went to Charlie Obaugh Chevrolet because I was in the market for a used Denali. I have dealt with the "real" Charlie Obaugh dealership for over 30 y I went to Charlie Obaugh Chevrolet because I was in the market for a used Denali. I have dealt with the "real" Charlie Obaugh dealership for over 30 years with no complaints. I test drove the Denali and something didn't feel exactly right. It had terrible tires so it was hard to tell. The salesman, Pat Berrang said that he would get me the shop report, but after some conversations with someone in the shop and the Used Car Manager he said that it had never been through the shop. The truck was in very good condition otherwise and I had already agreed on a price. They said that they would get it inspected and cleaned up before I picked it up. Came back in the afternoon and it was inspected, but not cleaned. I took the vehicle home and after getting off of the interstate the transmission was slipping going into 3rd. I sent a note to Charlie and at first he was going to help, but then said that I would have to deal with Eric. I took the Denali to a reputable transmission shop and they said that it was a junk yard transmission that had been recently installed. I sent another note to Charlie with no response. There was a day when you could go to the Charlie Obaugh dealership and look Charlie in the eye and shake his hand comfortable that you could trust the man you were dealing with. This is no longer the way business is done. Like any other used car dealer you should take the vehicle to a shop that you trust for a thorough inspection before you agree to purchase. My days with this dealership are done. More
