Very Unprofessional I went in for a transmission fluid check. This was my first time using this dealership and my service was terrible. I first spoke to a salesman inside I went in for a transmission fluid check. This was my first time using this dealership and my service was terrible. I first spoke to a salesman inside the store. He treated me like I was an idiot because I asked him how to go about having someone check my fluid. I went to get back in my car to pull around to the service area and one of the salesman parked a Jeep behind my vehicle. I had to get out and ask if they could please move so I could back out. I got into the service station and the first man I talked to basically told me he didnt have time to help me because he was assisting another person and said it would take a while, and cost money! He was not friendly whatsoever and treated me like an idiot. So then I stepped back and waited until another man called me over. He said he was new and had to go ask someone for help. He came out of the service shop and just got right in my vehicle without warning and popped the hood and stuck the dipstick in. The serviceman told me I needed a transmission flush and they could schedule it for me. The new guy told me if I went back and talked to the first man I talked to he would definitely try and sell me a flush for $150.00. What I was wondering was, why did the first guy give me false information telling me I would have to wait a while, and pay for it when it was such a simple procedure? I just left there very unsatisfied with my service. Everyone there seemed very rude and unprofessional and I felt like I was bothering them. Ive never had this experience with any other dealerships before. Pretty poor customer service. More
When you want to buy a car, you really want to know how much the car is. It seems like the most basic thing to be told, but they don't want to do that. They are the typical, shady car dealership of days pa much the car is. It seems like the most basic thing to be told, but they don't want to do that. They are the typical, shady car dealership of days past. I went to many dealers in Lansing in the past few weeks including Bud Kouts, Glenn Buege, and Shaheen. They were extremely friendly, up front, helpful individuals at the other dealers. The prices were told immediately. At Champion, I asked the price of the car about 10 times before I was finally told. That was after they tried to tell me it was worth $1500 more than it really was. Fortunately I have a smart phone so I could look up their lies before they go too out of hand. The salesman was taking me for a test drive and I asked him how much the car was. He couldn't tell me?!? He had the spec sheet, he was a blatant liar and I should not have given him as much time as I did. They say they can finance, here are the payments, and finally here is the total amount of the car. BUT, we don't know the interest rate. WHAT? If you have all the numbers, why can't you calculate an interest rate...Here, let me do it for you on my phone. So I do, and they argue with me about what the number is telling me that "phones are sometimes wrong". This place is a total joke. I bought my car from Shaheen. The prices are negotiable, but of course there is a clear starting point. They worked out an insane deal with me and got me out the door, including taxes and all Secretary of State fees, for less than the car is worth! You ask a question, they answer it, no lying or procrastinating or anything like that. Don't worry about "being rude" to the salesman and walking out of Champion--I assure you, they don't care about being rude to you. The minute they realize you don't want anything to do with their deceit, they write you off like nothing. It is all for show. More
Lied to about price. Quoted one price and then when the paperwork came out a completely different (higher) price appeared. Poor management. The also tried to tell us that a purchasing a service contract wa paperwork came out a completely different (higher) price appeared. Poor management. The also tried to tell us that a purchasing a service contract was required. The employees were not polite and curteous. We will never go back to this dealership for anything. More
