Jeep Cherokee towed to Champion when battery died. Had an appointment for the same day. No call from service. When I called the next day, they said I was second in line to get serviced, however, a Had an appointment for the same day. No call from service. When I called the next day, they said I was second in line to get serviced, however, a friend had hers towed after mine for same issue and she had already gotten it back. Was told would be the next day. Left message with no return call. Finally got on with service guy who said they were still waiting to look at it and I was in line (this is two full business days later). When asked about why appointments were scheduled, he responded with "when you make a doctors appointment, you have to wait". I am a very reasonable customer who assumes good intent of others, but since others had been serviced after mine was in and the condescending way I was spoken to was appalling. I was lied to about timing, others were put others ahead, appointment times were not kept. 5 days later and still no car. Had to tow it elsewhere to actually get it looked at. I will never purchase from or get service from Champion again. More

I witnessed a very kind act on May 29 at Sparrow Hospital in the emergency room that involved one of your employees.. A man entered the emergency room asking for his wife. As he continued to speak to the per in the emergency room that involved one of your employees.. A man entered the emergency room asking for his wife. As he continued to speak to the personnel, he told them that he had been to your dealership looking to buy a car. He was unable to find something and ended up in the waiting room at the end of business day with no ride home. People at the dealership were trying to figure out how to help him when a man told him that he would give him a ride. He said that the man's name was Lauren or Lawrence and brought him to Sparrow Hospital. On the way there, he told your employee that he hadn't eaten in two or three days. Your employee stopped and bought him food as he had a large bag of food, and he kept saying how grateful he was. I don't know if he was a homeless person and wasn't disheveled so I assumed he might have been down on his luck. Either way, your employee went above and beyond the call of duty. Bravo, Lauren or Lawrence (I am sorry if I got it wrong). Marilyn Porter p.s. This is by far the worst dealership you could ever purchase from. Their salesman are trash and liars. Less than 2 months later, white smoke is coming from the exhaust, tire pressure gauge was broken, cover shield of the engine was missing, and the bottom shield to protect engine from debris had fallen off. Went in for service, just to be told my “warranty” doesn’t cover anything that needed to be taken care of. I was sold a lemon by their young untrustworthy salesman, Joseph Zuehluke! When I took my car to the service department, Soran (a rep in the department) expressed how he told the salesman about the problems of the vehicle and the fact that even a simple shield for the engine is missing. Joseph responded with, “That’s not my problem”! DONT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT‼️ More

On 5/26/23 we drove an hour and half to purchase a used vehicle from Champion. We had negotiated a price on a vehicle based on the information the dealer provided over the phone and by email. When we arrived at the dealership, we found several issues that were not brought to our attention by the dealer before we made the trip. The Kelly Blue book car dollar amount provided was also inflated, there was a towing package option included on the paperwork that was not on this vehicle. After spending more than 4 hours working with the dealer, we did purchase. The vehicle was missing mats that the dealer had agreed to provide and send to our home. It has been 20 days and we are still waiting on the Mats that our local dealer can get for us in a day. Champion follow-up communication has not been good, we have called several times and been put on hold, I’ve text and emailed the Salesperson Anthony and Manager Josh with poor response. We have been told the Mats had to be sent to the dealership instead of direct to our home and they will ship to us today 6/15/23. We also found that the spare key they provided was damaged/unusable and will cost just under $300 for a new one, the Manager Josh is not willing to replace it. We are not a Fan of Champion and would not recommend or purchase from them in the future. More
My engine light was on, I took it to Champion and they put it on their machine for $150 bucks, told me the Active shutter system was shorted out and could be fixed for about $1100 bucks. I drove the truck for probably 2 years with the light on, took it to LaFontain for an oil change. Told the Service rep about the engine light and he said that diagnosis just sounded wrong. They checked it out and found a loose wire in the wire harness, All fixed for a fraction of price. More

My daughter purchased her first vehicle from Champion in July 2022 .. The check engine light came on, so we made an appointment for service a week ago. I called back at 5:20, only to be told it had not been looked at yet and would not be looked at until tomorrow and I should hear back by noon! I have an appointment for service, and it takes 24 hours to look at the vehicle???? When questioning how this could happen, I was directed to the Service Manager Claude. That is where a lousy experience got even worse! I have NEVER been spoken to by a service professional like this before. Claude was extremely rude and aggressive with me. He would barely let me speak or ask any questions to the absurd story he was trying to spin. He kept telling me I was interrupting him as if he wanted me to shut up and listen without speaking. Claude seems confused about his role at Champion. I expect a service “manager” to be helpful to the customer, be honest and admit a mistake happened, and calmly resolve the issue. Apparently, my expectations were too high, at least for Claude. I asked if we have opted to wait in the lobby until her vehicle was done would we still be sitting there, Claude responded “I don’t know”. When I expressed concern about not being able to trust her vehicle to be looked at or bringing it back for service in the future, he told me not to bring my vehicle back because it was a hassle for him and me. I asked if I could speak to his manager\supervisor, he told me he doesn’t report to anyone. He suggested we pick up the vehicle that night, which we did. It seems like repeat customer business is not a priority at this dealership. Needless to say, we will NOT be bringing any vehicle here for service again, nor will we be purchasing any more vehicles from this dealership. Very disappointed in the customer service , and the behavior of Claude is unacceptable! It was a very upsetting experience for a young girl bringing her car in for service for the first time. Not the level of service I am used to!! More
