Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, fair, goes beyond the norm. Casey Bauer (Bower?) is probably the best sales person I have ever dealt with when purchasing a car. Untrustworthy Service Department One of the tires on my GMC truck had a slow leak. The repair would have been covered by the Customer Care plan I purchased at the time I bought the t One of the tires on my GMC truck had a slow leak. The repair would have been covered by the Customer Care plan I purchased at the time I bought the truck. I took my truck to the Service Department at 7:30am this past Saturday. After three hours, I was told they could find nothing wrong with the tire. I was dumbfounded and told them they were incompetent. Because of that, a technician then came into the lobby and yelled at me. He dropped the f-bomb and called me a "b***h". Yesterday, Monday, I took my truck to a local mechanic shop. They removed the wheel from the truck and immediately discovered a nail, screw, or something similar in the very middle of the tread. The mechanic pored liquid on the tire where the puncture was, and bubbles were immediately visible. They then removed the tire from the wheel, removed the debris that punctured the tire, plugged it, put the tire back on the wheel, and put the wheel back on the truck. The problem was diagnosed and repaired while I waited--about 30 minutes. DON'T TRUST THE CENTURY BUICK GMC SERVICE DEPARTMENT! More
I am satisfied with my service representative Wendell Pope. I was disappointed for the first time with technician Dave. I left the car there for 28 hours with an electrical question. The customer service was nothing special. I dropped off my truck for an oil change and for the hvac system to be checked. It wasn’t a lot. But after about four hours and no word from the service advisor, I my truck for an oil change and for the hvac system to be checked. It wasn’t a lot. But after about four hours and no word from the service advisor, I called in. He said it was all set to go. I asked about the hvac and he had to call me back. They need to keep the client updated better. Ferman in Lutz does a great job of this. They text you reminders and updates. Even though it’s farther from home, I think I will go to ferman from now on. I feel much more valued there. I will say though, I talked to a mechanic and a sales guy there, and they were pretty helpful. More
