I have walked out of Downs Ford 2 different times when I have walked out of Downs Ford 2 different times when they changed the monthly payment of 2 cars we were looking at. [the last time we were there 3 I have walked out of Downs Ford 2 different times when they changed the monthly payment of 2 cars we were looking at. [the last time we were there 3 hours before the 'change'!!] my son spent a week and a half dealing with them and got a rough ballpark figure. i went there and they ran my credit. i have great credit so no problem. the $$$ they quoted my son were what i was approved for. AFTER THE 3RD HOUR THEY CAME TO ME AND SAID THERE IS A PROBLEM. WE MISUNDERSTOOD YOUR DOWN PAYMENT!!! WE THOUGHT YOU HAD blah blah blah...... NOW BETWEEN TRADE IN AND $$$ ON HAND IT WAS A 10K TRADE IN. we just got a cashier check of $7500 filled out to them, my sons trade in was $2200 and after 3 hours they want to change??!!??. we walked out and WENT TO WEISLEDER. I should of learned the 1st time with DOWNs. My wife and I just bought our 4th car at WEISLEDER. We bought a Mazda 3, a Mercury Mariner, a Lincoln Mark LT truck, and now a Ford Fusion. Next year when my wife will get her new vehicle there will only be 1 place i will head to, Weisleder. Everyone there are friendly and helpful. It made car buying a pleasure. PLUS THE PRICE THEY QUOTE WILL BE THE PRICE YOU PAY--NOT LIKE DOWNS!!! More

I talked several times with Rick in motorsports - simply amazing guy and hooked me up with scheduling my Boss 302 for track key install. I work in manhattan and had to drive to Freehold, then to Downs in Toms River. Debbie gave me her cell number and once i arrived she came and let me park my Boss in a inside bay for the next days work. The job was completed today and Debbie called me to let me know by 9:45 AM Debbie also going to met me the next so I could pickup the BOSS with new track key installation completed - even kept my Stang inside as it was raining during the day. Both Rick and Debbie are extremely dedicated, knowledgeable and service oriented. Its obvious they LOVE their jobs and everything FORD. so kudos to Debbie and Rick from Downs Ford/Motorsports More

I went to purchase a car for my daughter who has her permit and from start to finish the experience was a perfect 10. No high pressure, very knowledgable, and best price I was able to find. Ok what can I say. I really like Downs Ford. They didn't have the usual pressure tactics or i would have left. They found me exactly what I wanted. Do yourself a favor...avoid Downs Ford at all costs. If you loke fords....There are plenty of other Ford dealerships out there. Downs has charged me $500 for a cracked sub-frame on a new hrbrid.That they s you loke fords....There are plenty of other Ford dealerships out there.
