The appointment schedule was open so I booked a 7:30 am July 5th. I arrive I was told that they were booked and if the mechanic has time he will LOOK at it. I asked the young lady how about tomorrow she tells me they are booked I glanced over and saw all days are booked then why the xxxx would you show availability on line and not have any. I wouldn't recommend this dealer at all. They lie.. Now my car won't get the service that it need... I'm screwed.... More

Refreshing and Wonderful Experience My father and I were out to various dealerships in Toms River looking to lease a car. After a few hours in a local dealership we were very apprehensi My father and I were out to various dealerships in Toms River looking to lease a car. After a few hours in a local dealership we were very apprehensive about continuing out search for the day. The dealership we were at was so unorganized, rude, and I actually left there feeling drained and exhausted. My father said, lets stop at Downs Ford. I had already been there on a Sunday just to window shop, and liked the Fusion SE. I will admit I was nervous at first. When we walked in we were greeted by a nice salesman Nick Telesca. My father requested to we speak to a manager first about financing before we test drove anything due to the hours wasted at the other dealership. Nick went and got Chris Delvecchio, and Chris was so informative and professional. He was pleasant, and spent time with us. No pressure at all, and I went from a nervous wreck, to a relaxed potential customer. I drove the Fusion I wanted, and loved it. Financing approved very quickly as well. Nick went over everything in the car, and while we awaited paperwork to be finalized, Nick was so a pleasure to talk with. I highly recommend anyone who went through the gauntlet at other dealerships, feeling overwhelmed, and beaten down, to give Downs Ford a visit. You will not be disappointed. You will be pleasantly surprised how down to earth the staff is, and feel a sense of relief. Thank you Chris and Nick so much for treating my father and I so wonderful.
