Worst Bait and Switch Ever Made a deal for an SUV. Salesperson gave us the deal in writing on company letterhead. Applied to GMAC for credit. Added car to insurance policy. Made a deal for an SUV. Salesperson gave us the deal in writing on company letterhead. Applied to GMAC for credit. Added car to insurance policy. On going into closing the “Sales Manager” calls and says they made a mistake and the lease would be $250 per month more for 36 months. Obviously I walked. This dealer is dishonest and the worst experience I have had trying to buy a car. My credit has been hit by their inquiry and I have to remove it from my insurance. More
I’ve been a Chevrolet guy since I was a kid. My brother and I decided to buy new trucks. We both were going to do it around the same time. I went on a Friday and had the deal completed for a brand new 2500 and I decided to buy new trucks. We both were going to do it around the same time. I went on a Friday and had the deal completed for a brand new 2500 HD with a Duramax. Needless to say it was going to cost a pretty penny. While my deal was to be finalized I told the sales manager that my brother wants a 1500...the white RST to be exact. I told him he’d would like his payments to be around 500 a month after his trade in. I got his vin and everything for them. I mentioned that if the deal was good he would come from Gainesville the next day to pick it up. After some back and forth the GM stated he would be close to 500...but probably closer to 515. I let my brother know and he was good with it. I decided we would both take deliver the next day so i did not sign paperwork on the deal yet. The next morning we show up and the GM says the trade in value was as expected. So here his wife and him sit waiting to see the 515 ish payment: the sales guy says here is your amazing deal. The poet shows 590 per month. Needless to say I walked right back to the GM and asked why the price difference and he states I never said 515...he made me out to look like a liar to my brother and his wife. Needless to say we didn’t buy either truck and went to VannGannaway and worked with Wayne and Justin. They got me a better deal on the LZT 2500HD and for him a way better payment...below 515! Save yourself the hassle and learn from my mistake. More
Rock stars of Dealers My Wife and I have been to several different dealerships looking to purchase a new vehicle. We have had the Shock N Aw to the puppy dog making us feel My Wife and I have been to several different dealerships looking to purchase a new vehicle. We have had the Shock N Aw to the puppy dog making us feel guilty and to the angry for not buying from them. I was expecting the same thing here since this was our first time visit. Boy were we wrong, the sales people here cant be compared to any other dealership. The sales people actually treat and speak to you like your part of the family and they play no games, insult you or degrade you. We purchased our new vehicle last night and it felt like it was a purchase from a from a family member. The people here are truly the rock stars of dealerships and the sales profession. More
Very Poor Experience I grew up in a Chevy family so it was only natural that I took my son to buy his first car here. To say it was a bad experience is an understatement. I grew up in a Chevy family so it was only natural that I took my son to buy his first car here. To say it was a bad experience is an understatement. We had some challenges and the only person that would ever talk to us about them was the poor sales guy. NOT ONCE did anyone higher ever step in. Everything you could imagine was wrong: Car did not have features that we were told it did, MPG was off what we had been looking for, financing was horrible. Even though I paid them to pay off our trade in, I still ended up paying it off at the bank! Now I get to wait for a check from Cecil Clark to return my money. Seriously? I think this is a car buyers nightmare. I feel really bad for my son. More

When he needed an oil change and thought maybe an alignment, he went to Cecil Clark Chevrolet thinking the service department would know what they were doing because they are a dealership. He did not need an alignment but they did decide to rotate his tires with the oil change. The service tech used the wrong size socket on the key for the lug nuts and gauged a huge scratch around every lug nut. Not on one wheel, but ALL 4! After much frustration with management, the owner said they would not own up to the damage but offered to fix them anway. He was turned over to the body shop where they didn't even move his truck or clean the rims and only touched up the rim with what looked like a glossy touch up pen- the rims are matte! They now look horrible! We are so upset that they cannot take ownership of their wrong doing and make it right. Customer service and the OWNER could have kept happy customers for life but instead they are getting my bad reviews. Now we want to let everyone know that not only are their techs inexperienced and unreliable but the management and ownership can't take responsibility for their employees' mistakes and make things right. There are plenty of dealerships in this area, don't go to this one!!! More
Awesome experience - 5* all around - Joseph Clark is great! Joseph Clark of Cecil Clark Chevrolet is the real deal!! It would have been a 3-hour drive for me to drive there and purchase the Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I Joseph Clark of Cecil Clark Chevrolet is the real deal!! It would have been a 3-hour drive for me to drive there and purchase the Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I was having a busy day at work in West Palm Beach, and Joseph not only offered me more on my trade in than any dealer nearby, but he also was willing to give me the best price on the new Tahoe of anybody I contacted, and as if that was not enough, he offered to drive the car to West Palm Beach, do the paperwork in my office and take my trade back to Leesburg - and save ME the 3 hours of driving. Wow!! Can you say impressive? Every question answered, timely, called me early in the morning from home when I sent my email. Just Right On Top Of Every Little Detail from the very start!! I am so impressed. My next Chevrolet will come from Cecil Clark in Leesburg - and I won't waste much time dealer shopping in my neighborhood. More
I purchased a 2012 Silverado in September of 2012. The sticker price was $41,000. I had a trade-in, which was an older vehicle was lots of miles but prior to going to the dealership I did my homework on sticker price was $41,000. I had a trade-in, which was an older vehicle was lots of miles but prior to going to the dealership I did my homework on the trade-in value and it was $5700.00. They told me they would give me $2000.00 and when I said forget it and got up to leave they asked me how much would I need to make the deal happen and I told them $5000.0..they said "OK". I also had a corporate discount which totaled $2723.00. I told them I would have to come back later so I could go home and get my glasses so I could read the paperwork. They assured me that wasn't necessary...yes...a stupid move on my part. They only gave me $2000.00 on my trade-in and never gave me my company discount although I asked them about this at least 4 times. When I realized what they had done when I got back home, I called them but they said they had already sold my vehicle (so I couldn't cancel the deal), I signed the paper work and I was basically out of luck. Worst yet, I went to trade it in to get a better gas mileage vehicle and I lost 42% of the value I paid since Chevy's don't retain they're value and because they manufactured too many they're giving them away now. If you're shopping for a Chevy there's another Chevy dealership across the road - don't deal with these immoral people. More
