Hands down the most disgusting customer service I’ve ever experienced. Sales manager and Salesman are completely disrespectful. I called the salesman Dave Vancellette and told him that we were driving an HOU experienced. Sales manager and Salesman are completely disrespectful. I called the salesman Dave Vancellette and told him that we were driving an HOUR AND HALF to come buy a car. I asked him if someone comes in to purchase the car we wanted to purchase to please let us know. After our hour and half drive we arrive to see that someone else was buying the car. The salesman lied and said the guy had “JUST SHOWN UP” however the other customer had already test drove the car, had his car appraised and was working a deal on the car we drove an hour and forty five min to look at. When I asked to please speak to the manager “which was only 10 feet away in a clear glass office so he could see us he sat in his chair looking at us and playing on his phone!!! I asked the salesman “is your manager not going to even talk to me....he responded with a short “no” and when I asked what his name was he said “Joseph” and I asked him Joseph what......he said “Joesph Clark, as in Cecil CLARK Chevrolet”!!!!!!! Can you believe that someone obviously who’s family with a dealerships name won’t get out of his seat to greet a guest in his dealership and will sit on his phone!! I truly HOPE someone else in his family watches security tapes after reading this to verify the way their dealership is being ran. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. We didn’t drive an hour and half to kick tires. We came to buy. All the salesman had to do was call us and let us know someone was most likely going to buy. We would’ve respected that so much more and had come back and purchased should the other guest not bought. STAY AWAY FROM CECIL CLARK CHEVROLET!!! More
Worst Bait and Switch Ever Made a deal for an SUV. Salesperson gave us the deal in writing on company letterhead. Applied to GMAC for credit. Added car to insurance policy. Made a deal for an SUV. Salesperson gave us the deal in writing on company letterhead. Applied to GMAC for credit. Added car to insurance policy. On going into closing the “Sales Manager” calls and says they made a mistake and the lease would be $250 per month more for 36 months. Obviously I walked. This dealer is dishonest and the worst experience I have had trying to buy a car. My credit has been hit by their inquiry and I have to remove it from my insurance. More
I’ve been a Chevrolet guy since I was a kid. My brother and I decided to buy new trucks. We both were going to do it around the same time. I went on a Friday and had the deal completed for a brand new 2500 and I decided to buy new trucks. We both were going to do it around the same time. I went on a Friday and had the deal completed for a brand new 2500 HD with a Duramax. Needless to say it was going to cost a pretty penny. While my deal was to be finalized I told the sales manager that my brother wants a 1500...the white RST to be exact. I told him he’d would like his payments to be around 500 a month after his trade in. I got his vin and everything for them. I mentioned that if the deal was good he would come from Gainesville the next day to pick it up. After some back and forth the GM stated he would be close to 500...but probably closer to 515. I let my brother know and he was good with it. I decided we would both take deliver the next day so i did not sign paperwork on the deal yet. The next morning we show up and the GM says the trade in value was as expected. So here his wife and him sit waiting to see the 515 ish payment: the sales guy says here is your amazing deal. The poet shows 590 per month. Needless to say I walked right back to the GM and asked why the price difference and he states I never said 515...he made me out to look like a liar to my brother and his wife. Needless to say we didn’t buy either truck and went to VannGannaway and worked with Wayne and Justin. They got me a better deal on the LZT 2500HD and for him a way better payment...below 515! Save yourself the hassle and learn from my mistake. More
