On 5/2/24 I brought my 2022 Equinox in to be looked over for a few under warranty issues. I dropped my car off and was shuttled home. That all was a pleasant experience, as was the shuttle return and pickin for a few under warranty issues. I dropped my car off and was shuttled home. Now my extremely concerning issue is the fact that my vehicle left your facility for approximately an hour and thirty minutes. My car left your facility at 10:25am and returned to your facility at 11:44am. In that time, my car went from your facility at 10:25am and arriving at 10:50am to 9201 E Treasure Island Ave in Leesburg. In which my gps did not pick up another signal until 11:33am where it showed my vehicle at 9201 E Treasure Island Ave in Leesburg where it then arrived to your facility at 11:44am. The first trip was 3.45 miles and the second trip was 3.12 miles. Totaling to 6.57 miles. On my paperwork the odometer states it was at 35607. But when I dropped it off that morning my odometer was 35578. Mean I g from the time I dropped it off until the time I picked it up 29 miles were put on my car. Now only 7 can be accounted for so how did my accumulate 22 additional miles to the 7. Why did my car sit at that location for nearly 45 minutes? I’m not ok with my vehicle being used for someone’s ride to go take their lunch. Because I do t know where they went or what they did to my vehicle while gone. It’s not acceptable I came in to your facility on 5/3/24 to speak to the service advisor who helped me on 5/2/24 but I was told he was not there. So I left my name and number with another service advisor and asked to be called to discuss when Stephen, my advisor, came back to work. Which I was told would be today, 5/3/24. I have not heard from him and I don’t think it’s my job to track down someone to answer my question and address my concerns. If the tech was on lunch and took my vehicle to his home the liability for anything happening falls on me. He’s not on the clock when he’s on a lunch break. So therefore if he were to wreck my car I’d be screwed Since he is not a covered driver on my car insurance. More
We discovered that our car insurance wasn't transferred to the new car. We weren't told that at the time, and we were driving without insurance from the time we drove from your dealership until 4/31. We are very disappointed in this case. We are very lucky not to have had an accident. In all the vehicles that we've owned and all the dealerships we did business with we never had this problem. this dealership is amazing. from the sales staff all the way to the service department. Micheal Johnson was very patient in showing and explaining about the vehicle and allowing from the sales staff all the way to the service department. Hosea was very patient when it came to closing the deal he explained everything. helped me set everything up with on star and downloaded and set up the app on my phone and made sure everything was working properly. Chuck was great with closing the deal, again very patient and happy to explain anything, and happy to answer questions. this was a wonderful experience for me. Thank You All !! More
