I am writing this review to compliment the Sales Consultant, Mr. Jay Connolly, who sold me our car yesterday. I would like to also mention I was impressed with other staff members, but only spent a Consultant, Mr. Jay Connolly, who sold me our car yesterday. I would like to also mention I was impressed with other staff members, but only spent a very short time with them. Mr. Connolly was quick to respond to all of the questions I asked him giving me the impression of sure does "his homework" making him knowledgeable. He is encouraging, but not pushy at all. I was impressed with his attitude. He showed us numerous vehicles he felt we may be interested in and he went took extra steps to make sure my wife and I understood everything we needed to know. In summary Mr. Connolly is "the best salesperson" I have ever worked with and I am 67 years of age and have had contact with many. To me he is the best sales representative I have every met. I was impressed with his professionalism, presentation, knowledge, personality, sincerity, and I could go on and on. Something else he did that impressed me was stay after hours to thoroughly go over everything regarding our new car. He is definitely not a "clock watcher employee." When I asked him what he liked about his job he said; "I like making people happy when I am able to help the customer find the vehicle they want." And he did just that with us and we bought a Ford from him that evening. In my opinion Mr. Jay Connolly is to be recognized for the OUTSTANDING JOB he does in representing Cavalier Ford Lincoln Greenbrier. His salesmanship abilities certainly reflected a very professional image. I was impressed with his attitude and personality. He went beyond what I had expected and there is a genuineness in his desire to please and he sure proved it to my wife and I. More
I **HATE** buying a car. Something that should be really fun and exciting was usually about as pleasant as a root canal--in fact, less so. My experience with Cavalier Ford Greenbrier in Chesapeake, Virginia has been outstanding thus far!!! I bought a Red 2011 5.0 Mustang in October of 2010. I love the car's performance with that Coyo Chesapeake, Virginia has been outstanding thus far!!! I bought a Red 2011 5.0 Mustang in October of 2010. I love the car's performance with that Coyote V8 engine. Also, the service has been spectacular!! Ken Childers, Paul Saltarelli, Shawn Wilson, and Mike Hall have been grade A top notch!! I have been a Cavalier Ford Dealership customer for twenty years and have bought seven cars and trucks from them since 1992. The major reason I continue to return to Cavalier is because of their Servi twenty years and have bought seven cars and trucks from them since 1992. The major reason I continue to return to Cavalier is because of their Service Department. I have found them to be very professional and trustworthy. I have been able to develop an outstanding rapor with my Service Advisor Mr.Brian Lacy and the Service Manager Mr. Paul Saltarelli. I am always treated with respect and I can be assured that my vehicle's are well taken care of when I have them in for service. They always are prepared to go that extra mile to ensure that I am satisfied with their service. It all begins with a knowledgable Sales Representative and then the Service Department. In my opinion the service department can make or break a dealership and Cavalier Ford Lincoln Service Department is "SECOND TO NONE". Cavalier Ford Lincoln Dealership will continue to earn my business in the future. Thank you! More
Cavalier Ford was actually my third dealership that I decided to stop at, but I am extremely glad I did. My wife, 18 month daughter, and I walked into Cavalier Ford about an hour before closing on a Sun decided to stop at, but I am extremely glad I did. My wife, 18 month daughter, and I walked into Cavalier Ford about an hour before closing on a Sunday and we were quickly greeted by Danny McDermott. We were tired of getting the run around from other dealerships so it might have been obvious upon us initially talking to Danny, but nonetheless Danny was a professional while dealing with situation. We gave Danny all our requirements in a car and he quickly had a new Ford Flex brought out to us. The Flex covered all aspects of what we wanted in a vehicle along with the price that we were comfortable with. We made it clear to Danny that we wanted the most car for the least amount of money and that our monthly payment not going over a certain figure was very important. I am pleased to say that Danny did a great job into meeting with our goals in this aspect. Of the other two dealerships we we visited today Danny was the only salesman that stuck to what we wanted in far as price rather than trying to sell us a more expensive vehicle like the other dealerships attempted. Once the options and price were covered, it was time to test drive the new Ford Flex. Since my wife and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of moving our car seat from the other car to the Flex we took turns driving. Danny was a HUGE help in this manner because he helped looked after our 18 month daughter while my wife and I were testing driving the vehicle. My daughter was smiling from ear to ear while Danny was with her. Danny was a great help and was great with kids. After the test drive this was a done deal. We loved the car and we started the paperwork. They met all our financial needs and we definitely got the most car for the least amount of money possible. Also, I received the highest offer for my trade in vehicle, which even made me that much more happy. I am 100% impressed with the entire process and would recommend Cavalier to anyone looking to buy a new or used car and deal with people that truly know what they are doing with the customers interest as their number one priority. Finally, Danny McDermott was a true professional, but the entire team at Cavalier Ford were just as nice, helpful, and professional. I wish I had the names of all the employees I had contact with, but they were all great. More
I visited on Thursday June 23 to buy a brand new vehicle. I left that day b/c I could not get what i wanted. I called Fri to buy a different new vehicle, and told Danny to put through my paperwork and tell I left that day b/c I could not get what i wanted. I called Fri to buy a different new vehicle, and told Danny to put through my paperwork and tell me what kind of deal we can work out. No word Fri evening, no word sat....sun...or Monday. I finally call Monday, and asked Danny why he hasnt he called and he said he had 2 customers call already today and he was too busy to work on my paperwork. I feel I wasnt a priority at this dealership, bc if I was, he could have passed me to someone less "swamped" or called to let me know what was going on. Im in customer service and I just require the same respect and courtesy that I give to my customers. When I told Danny not to continue with my paperwork that I would rather find another Ford dealership, he just happily said ok. I called the dealership to complain and got a voicemail(surprise suprise). I would rather buy a NEW car from someone who cares about the sale. So much for #1 sales employee...........:( More
Let's start with June of 2010. If you trade a car in make sure you get EVERYTHING out of it. If not, you will NEVER see it again. I mistakenly left my GPS in the car and it was stolen by someone that works a sure you get EVERYTHING out of it. If not, you will NEVER see it again. I mistakenly left my GPS in the car and it was stolen by someone that works at the dealership. I suspect whoever cleans the cars out. Yes, I know it's my responsibilty to remove my personal belongings, however, just know that somoene there isn't doing the right thing. Now on to service. You can buy a car and get free oil changes and state inspections for life. With those free oil changes they are supposed to top off all of the fluids in the process. They require you bring the car back to the dealership for all scheduled maintenance, so that if anything goes wrong with the enginge you are fully covered under that warranty. Okay, got it! But, why aren't they holding up their end of that deal? Who knows. I have left several messages for the General Manager to call me back. It's been months he hasn't called. Nothing!! I've bought two cars from this dealership. You think they would show a little more respect for their customers. More
