This has been absolutely the worst experience ever in the history of us being car owners. My whole family owns fords. First ford makes an engine that leaks coolant into the engine damaging the engine a the history of us being car owners. My whole family owns fords. First ford makes an engine that leaks coolant into the engine damaging the engine and doesn’t put any recall or notice on it. So when you have an issue with coolant leaking and bring it in they sorry can’t recreate the code so we can’t fix and send us home just to come back with the same issue and 3 cylinders out of four bad now mind you a simple Google search shows this is a known issue, which we learned when the car started loosing coolant the second time. So ford is well aware of this and I’m sure so is Cavalier. Our third party warranty sends in a used engine and pays for them to swap any parts out that are not useable on the engine they send but they swap none and put the whole used system on my car and now the used turbo line is bad and their is a leak in the exhaust manifold gasket which they charged my warranty company for replacing and will not take any responsibility. Not to mention that they had my car for two whole months and right after getting it back suddenly we need a new alternator and then a couple weeks after that all the other stuff happened. We literally put 600 miles on the car since they did their repairs. No one there will acknowledge their part or fix what they did they just want to put it on the third party warranty company. Since it’s used they don’t want to stand behind their labor. And not to mention they changed our turbo and all that other stuff and never asked us was that ok or offer to give us any of the parts back that they replaced without our permission. We are a military family and if that’s how they treat their military by taking advantage of them. I am so disappointed and will be sharing our horrible experience with our other military families.
