I brought my 2002 Impreza Outback Sports in for a complimentary spring check up. My car was well maintained and they found couple minor issues. The side marker lamp inside the headlamp assembly was complimentary spring check up. My car was well maintained and they found couple minor issues. The side marker lamp inside the headlamp assembly was bad and they need to remove the front grill, than headlamp assembly before they can reach the bulb. This could end up costing over $70 for the repair. My service advisor Ryan showed my Dad the location of the clips that held onto the grill and the overall steps to replace the lamp. We bought the bulb from the parts department and did it ourselve. We had 6 subarus in the past and they were all serviced by CARR. We trust their recommendation and all the advisors are great to work with. Thank you Ryan for saving us the expense. More
I have been doing all my services with Carr Subaru for the past five and half years and will nver go back to the old dealership I orginal dealt with. At Carr they treat me with kindness and explain things the past five and half years and will nver go back to the old dealership I orginal dealt with. At Carr they treat me with kindness and explain things in a way that I can understand. Also they understand times are tough but also want to help you keep your subaru running. I was due for a major service on my subaru but couldnt afford it all at once. Bob worked with me and guided me to get the service done in sections starting with the most important areas that need to get done and ending with the least important. Each time I brought my car in I was greeted with a smile and if Bob wasn't there the other advisors treated just as warmly and helped me out. I tell all my freinds and family how Carr help me get my car the service it needed while working with my budget and not pushing me into debt. More
For years I was a customer of Gresham Subaru, and I was never satisfied with the service I received. There were often long waits and repeat trips. I also hated having to schedule an appointment beforehand never satisfied with the service I received. There were often long waits and repeat trips. I also hated having to schedule an appointment beforehand just to have an oil change. A friend told me about how great Carr Subaru was, and I thought I would give them a try. I called to schedule my next oil change and was told that no appointment was necessary! I went in when it was convenient for me, and Ryan had me in and out within 30 minutes! Wow! The icing on the cake was that they washed my dirty little car without me even asking! I happened to joke with the service manager when I was getting my check-in done that my car really was silver in color, not the horrible brown it appeared. To my surprise, Mike himself arranged to have it sparkling clean after the oil change. I have never received that level of service from a car dealership! Carr really goes the extra mile, and I would recommend them to anyone. More
I have been a customer of Carr Subaru for 10 years and never been disappointed. Their service department is by far the best in the area. Before becoming a loyal Carr customer I went to Wentworth because i never been disappointed. Their service department is by far the best in the area. Before becoming a loyal Carr customer I went to Wentworth because it was closer to my home. But after several negative experiences in a row I decided to give Carr a try. The employees at Carr went out of their way to make sure that I knew what work was going to be done, how long it would take and how much it would cost. Also after talking with technicians at both Wentworth and Carr I can tell you that their is no comparison. The technicians at Carr are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. More
My quest for a new car started at the Subaru dealer in Vancouver, where my experience was actually the best I have ever had. I did everything but buy the car there because in spite of the great deal, frie Vancouver, where my experience was actually the best I have ever had. I did everything but buy the car there because in spite of the great deal, friendly service and sincerity, I felt that I owed Wentworth and Carr a chance to "earn my business" like they had worked so hard to do at the first place I went. They warned me about the tricks that other dealers pull, and described some of them for me. Well they were right. I went to these other dealers because they promised me a better deal, and what looked at first on paper and in conversation to be that, I was painfully disappointed when I figured out that their quotes didnt include things like destination/delivery, factory installed accessories or a decreased value on my trade-in. So while at first it looked like I was gonna save $600 to $1500, what I found was that they wanted to tack these things on after they agreed to a price on the car. This actually put me at anywhere from $250 to $500 more than what I would have paid at the first place I went, and when I said I was gonna go back, they ended up offering it to me at the same price I could have originally bought it in Vancouver! What a scam! What I regret, is that I went ahead and bought it there anyway cause I was tired of driving all over and just needed a new Subaru. Dont waste your time coming all the way out here, you CAN GET THE BEST DEAL AT THE FIRST PLACE YOU GO!!! (In Vancouver) More
Needed brakes on my 2005 Legacy Outback 2.5XT, at 43k mi. I didn't shop it around and paid the price --- BIG TIME. Parts were reasonable for pads, but their labor charge for installation and resurfacing th I didn't shop it around and paid the price --- BIG TIME. Parts were reasonable for pads, but their labor charge for installation and resurfacing the rotors amounted to roughly $190/hour --- that is $380 in labor charges for about 2 hours of work. I am NEVER going to have routine maintenance at a Subaru dealer again! More

The very friendly salesperson kept mentioning the "120 point inspection" and how great this used car's condition was. He told me it listed for $10,000 and it was a great deal at $8000. I talked him d "120 point inspection" and how great this used car's condition was. He told me it listed for $10,000 and it was a great deal at $8000. I talked him down to $7400. He couldn't go any lower because "they had paid $7500 on trade-in". When I pointed out the Kelly Blue Book trade-in value was $4000 he changed the subject. Eventually I bought the car after forcing him to put "subject to mechanical inspection" in the contract. I had to correct the price on the contract, which had been "mistyped" as $7500. I took the car to a mechanic and he found $2500 worth of needed repairs: leaking valve cover, leaking oil pan, leaking power steering rack, etc. The coolant was almost pure water and the radiator fluid was filthy. The valve cover bolts had been stripped when the dealer "tightened" it. No access to the spark plugs. I took the car back. The salesperson and then his manager told me my mechanic (whom I've used for seven years) was lying. Then they offered me another $500. I walked out and stopped payment. More
